(Kim's Point of View)
Loud screams were what pulled me out of my slumber. I supported myself with my elbows as I pulled myself up. My blurry and confused gaze landed on Kareen who was standing at the edge of the bed, mouth widely parted, eyes threatening to pull out of her sockets as if she was seeing a ghost in front of her.
I almost dismissed her. Could she stop being so childish for once? "What?" I let out.
She pointed at the bed beside me. "You-you-"
I raised an eyebrow at her stammering. I decided to see what she was pointing at. My eyes widened for a quick second before realization hit me with full force.
Arthur was still fast asleep. He was never a heavy sleeper, surprising he didn't wake up from Kareen's deafening screams.
