Once Evy and I evacuated the chief's office and went our separate ways, I went back home.
Getting out of my car, I noticed Lucas's car positioned at the front of the mansion.
I footed into the house, going directly to the living room where Ms. Ruth was, attempting to make sure Killian did crawl away from her. I grinned at the sight, promptly striding towards them.
The little boy's giggles replenished the room and his eyes illuminated as soon as they docked on me. I opened my arms extensively and Ms. Ruth let him crawl over to me. He was getting quicker on his knees.
