CHAPTER 2

Olivia stared at Rita and Leonardo in tears as they enjoyed their s*x together. She couldn’t believe what she saw. She sobbed but stayed silent so they wouldn’t notice she was watching them.

She never thought that Leonardo, the boy whom she loved the most, would hurt her feelings that much. She was always told by her other friends that Leonardo was cheating on her, but she didn’t listen to them.

“Oh, baby, come on, give it to me, right there,” Rita screamed on the bed as her grip on the sheets tightened. Olivia watched with disgust. A part of her told her she should get in and snap Rita’s neck, but she decided to play cool.

She didn’t expect Rita to be one of the people to betray her. She’s always considered Rita as her best friend. Even when she started hitting on Leonardo at first, she showed Rita pictures of him and Rita showed no interest in it.

‘But why now?’ She thought to herself.

Even if she was told that Rita was having an affair with Leonardo, she wouldn’t believe it, because she thought Rita was the most humble among them all.

She removed her phone from her bag and unlocked it, trying to video them. Her eyes first met with the recent calls she’d made. The number of cancelled calls she got was about 26 from the bastard, on top of the bed.

She quickly deleted his contact, and then she clicked on her camera app, started the video recording, and recorded as Rita and Leonardo continued playing with themselves on the bed.

‘Those bastards, they'll surely pay’, she thought to herself. It was then she realised the reason why her father warned her against Leonardo.

“Baby, I hate you,” Rita said with a bit of a frown on her face.

“Why honey?” Leonardo asked after she stopped him from going inside her.

“You told me you were gonna cut ties with Olivia, but you didn’t. This wasn’t the first nor the second time I told you about this. You never gave me listening ears,” she said calmly while staring into Leonardo’s dark eyes.

“Oh about that!” He smiled, and he caressed his hair amusingly, which made Rita smile too.

Olivia, on the other hand, was still recording what was going on. The more they played with each other or talked with each other romantically in bed, the more her anger heightened.

“You’re not gonna get inside me again if you don’t break up with her by tomorrow,” Rita said, trying to get up from the bed when Leonardo held her hand and drew her back in.

“I’m sorry babe. Don’t worry you won’t hear that I am still dating her again tomorrow.”

“But what does she have that I don’t? I’m more beautiful than her, I have a very good shape, and I’m sure, I please you more on the bed than her,” Rita said, trying to show she was more important than Olivia.

Olivia, who heard this from the door, felt like going in and then ripping Rita’s neck, but she didn’t want to do anything shitty.

“I told you, I love you more. I was just using her so I could claim her dad’s business after marriage and divorce her,” Leonardo smiled.

“Now, come here, let’s finish what we started,” he pulled her ass to his waist, at which she giggled seductively at his touch. He brought out his, slotted it in, and she gasped when she felt something in between her legs again.

He began doing it faster, and Rita’s groans grew louder. Rita held the sheet one way again, while Leonardo continued with what he was doing. Leonardo immediately c*med on her body and then fell on her.

“I love you, Rita,” he planted a kiss on her cheeks, to which she replied by kissing him on her lips.

Olivia ended the video after that and closed the door silently. She then faced her back against the door and sighed.

She has seen enough just today.

‘Three bad events happening just in the sphere of not up till 24 hours, are they more to come?’ She thought as fresh warm tears ram on her cheeks again. She didn’t want to stay there any longer, so she started walking down the stairs when her right leg made contact with a flower vase beside her, and it fell on the ground crashing.

“Who’s that?” She heard Leonardo’s voice and quickly ran to the side of a wall opposite Leonardo’s room. Her breath was aching.

Leonardo came out of the room, with white sheets around his waist. She could tell he wasn’t wearing any underwear at that moment. He scanned through every possible corner of the house, while upstairs.

He tried heading to the wallside where Olivia was when, suddenly, Rita called him back to the room. Olivia sighed as he entered the back in the room, closing the door behind him.

“Thank God I wasn’t caught,” she said, as she left the stairs silently, but quickly. She immediately opened the front door after passing the living room and went out.

It was already raining outside and there weren’t any taxis passing by. Olivia scanned the surroundings she was in once more. She then went out of his compound.

She trekked on the streets, heading to the main road, trying to find a taxi, but there were none still coming or passing her direction.

The rain became heavy and she just kept on sobbing uncontrollably as the rain mixed with her tears. Her hands were freezing and she slid them into her coat which was already wet. She was tired of waiting for a taxi and was now heading to a bar to have a drink.

‘At least let me drink and forget about all that happened today’ she thought as she continued heading in the bar's direction. The bar surrounding was just filled with noise, as usual, but the bar she was heading to was not compared to any other bar she’d gone to.

She entered the bar and went to the counter. She didn’t pay attention to the stares she got from people while entering the bar. They didn’t know what she was passing through, so why would they pay attention?

“ I need one bottle of beer please,” she said to the bartender, who went straight to get her order. She scanned the bar to take a view of the environment. It was filled with drunken men and women, most of them kissing each other at the sides, some playing card games, and some talking and laughing drunkenly.

“Here you go,” the bartender handed her the beer, which she wasted no time in getting the ingredients in. She never loved alcohol but she didn’t have a choice. Even the bartender watched as she drank the bottle. He could tell something bad had happened to her.

“Another one,” she dropped the bottle on top of the counter and stared at the bartender. The bartender left to bring her order while she removed the coat that she was wearing, exposing her upper body. Her appearance attracted many stares, but she didn’t care a dime about it.

She didn’t know what she was doing at that moment. She was carried away by the alcohol. She took the second bottle in and was already feeling drowsy.

Suddenly, a man came by and sat close to her.

“Hey beauty, what’s your name?” He asked, looking at Olivia seductively.

“I’m Olivia, and you?”

“I’m Lucas. Wow, you have such a nice name. So what’s a beauty like you doing in this bar?”

Olivia didn't pay much attention to his question. She couldn’t hold herself any longer and felt like vomiting.

“Please, I need to head to the restroom quickly. Can you take me there?” She asked the young man sitting beside her.

“Sure,” he said, offering her a hand.

They were up the stairs already and Olivia had just finished using the toilet. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and just sat beside Lucas on the bed.

“I’m sorry for not answering your question earlier,” she said, staring into Lucas’s eyes.

“It’s okay, you have your reasons.”

“It’s just that_” she burst into tears once again.

“A lot happened to me just today. I was sacked by my boss, my dad forced me into marrying someone I don’t know. And then, I went to my boyfriend’s house to tell him about it, but I caught him cheating on me with my best friend,” she fell in his arms crying.

Lucas didn’t know what to do at that moment, caressed her hair, patting her and consoling her.

“Hey, it’s okay,” he raised her head and cupped her face, staring into her sky-blue eyes. He could tell she still looked beautiful while sobbing.

“We all go through_” he was about to finish his statement when she kissed him. He was jolted back and stunned by her action.

“Can you make me forget about this heartbreak and all that happened today?” She said, staring into Lucas’s eyes.

Lucas knew what she meant, and didn’t want to miss the opportunity, so he just replied to her by pressing his lips against hers. The kissing got intense and they fell on the soft bed.

Lucas removed the jacket he was putting on and then removed the gown too. He then continued kissing her body from her face to her breast. When he was done playing with her breasts, he removed his pants and slid down her panties.

“Have you ever done it before,” he asked, while opening the condom he had in his hands. Olivia shook her head in a way that meant ‘No’.

“I’m sorry we can’t do this,” he said, trying to withdraw back.

“Please, it’s gonna make me feel better,” she held his hands, and he met her pleading eyes.

“If you say so,” he said, as he wore the contraceptive on his, and slid it in between her legs.

Olivia gasped at the feeling. Although it was painful and it was her first, she still felt pleasure in it.

‘Indeed, this was gonna make her forget about her pain today’ she thought, as she enjoyed the moment.
