Jacobi POV I watched as Aria and Skylah rushed Jessie out of the room. I started to worry that my mother raised my wife's stress level to the point of her getting sick. I had hoped that it was morning sickness, Jessie did have a lot to eat. "So son, why weren't your father and I invited to the wedding?" "Because mother, it was just a small ceremony and the last I checked, you didn't approve of our relationship. I also promised her that I wouldn't allow you to sit there and glare at her while we took our vows." My mother's face turned red and she was about to respond, when I saw Jessie come back into the room. She looked sickly pale, and I could see she was shaking. I needed to get her to bed. I ran past my mother to Jessie, her skin was cold and clammy and she was shivering slightly.
