Jacobi POV
Have you ever sat in a windowless room with lights off? You try waving your hand in front of your face, just to see if you can see it, but you can't. That's where it feels like I am right now, total darkness. No light at the end of the tunnel, no glimmer of hope. The only time I don't feel the crushing weight of this darkness, is when I think about Jessie. When I think of her, I can almost hear her voice and feel her touch, and it makes me want to fight as hard as I can to get back to her.
I don't know how long I've been in the dark, but it feels like it's been too long. Jessie must be going out of her mind right now. I decided I was going to push as hard as I could today and see if I can make it back.
