Chase’s POV The first thing I saw, when I opened my eyes, was a bright sunlight that penetrated through the tent. I squinted as it was hurting my eyes. It’s been 4 days since I last saw my son. In the course of the search, I fell ill and had sores over my body. It took a while to heal and I felt useless, just lying down there. It was already morning. It meant I slept through the night.
