“Your roommate.” Aiden’s eyes widen in surprise. And then, he smiles and I just know a snarky comment is coming. “Tell me. Is she as dorky as you?”
“Her name is Kelly and she’s one of the coolest people I have ever met,” I gripe. “Frankly, she’s way too good for your meat head teammates.”
“Why does she want to date one then?”
I shrug. “It’s what she wants, alright? So, will you help me?”
“You want me to play match maker?” His lips curl up. “And what do I get in return for this favor?”
“I knew you were going to say that.” I shake my head at him. “Whatever it is you want, I bet we can work something out.”
“Hmm. I’ll have to think about it.” He gives me a smug look. “I need to take my sweet time reaching a decision on what I want you to do for me.”
