KNOX I didn’t think anything could surprise me anymore. I’d seen too much blood, betrayal, and ambition in its most vile form. But the things I’d read that morning about Celeste’s past burned through me like acid. After roaming for hours in my wolf form, I stumbled back into my study just after dawn to find reports from my spies of Celeste. I’d read every line, every word of how that bastard marked and then used her, and I’d wanted to burn the whole damned world down. The only reason I hadn’t declared war on Blood Moon right then and there was because of her. I needed to know what she wanted.
