Damian arrived thirty minutes later. But he didn't come alone. Through the window, I saw two black SUVs pull up behind his car. Men in dark suits got out and surrounded the building. The man who'd been watching was suddenly on the ground, face down, with someone's knee in his back. He didn't struggle. He didn't scream. He just lay there, limp, like he knew he'd been caught.
