***PHOENIX POV***     I would never accuse myself of being like Aladdin, but it felt good to have a body again.  After all, it had been almost 80 years since I had woken up.     The last guy that my spirit was a wolf for never used me.  I would never accuse that "man" to have been worth his salt at all, and I made sure that I told him that at every chance I got.  He never tried to shift, take over his pack, or anything.  So when he decided not to fight when his pack was overrun by dhampirs before they headed north to Michigan, I decided to say good riddance to that pack in hopes of taking over for someone who seemed much more capable with a decent support system around them built naturally.      So imagine my surprise when I first started waking up and I heard a great deal of the conver
