RJ & Dave had left in the middle of lunch. Now We head home to get our things. The birth giver isn't home, thankfully. So May ran inside to get her stuff, and I ran to my tiny shad to get mine and Doveys things. I came out with a book bag for me & a book bag for Dovey because that's all we have. May came out with six garbage bags & a suitcase with all her markup and hair stuff. Liz looks at me sadly. Rose sweety, can I talk to you once we get to the house?

Yes, Miss Liz, that's fine, but if you don't mind, can we pick up my daughter? I will not leave her behind. Dad looks at me, my baby. I would never ask you to leave my beautiful granddaughter anyplace but with me when you are at school. Jesse is jumping up & down. I can't wait to meet my niece & spoil her as aunties do. Omg! Mom, finally, my wish is coming true. I get to be the sweet baby's aunt and cuddle her and love her up.

May stand there with a sad look on her face. I look at her and walk away because b***h don't act like you haven't been just as awful to me as everyone else in this house. Yes, I get she was pretty much forced to act that way, but she hasn't even once tried to apologize to me. We are pulling up at ms. James & lily's house, and I feel sick looking at my best friend, not knowing if I'll see her again.

Ok, ok, I'm exaggerating. I'll see her at school again Monday, but still I'm going to miss her. Mr. James comes outside with Dovey in his arms; he looks at dad, turns around, walks back inside, then walks back out, still holding Dovey, but his face is soaking wet. Oh my! is that you, Jeffrey Bear? Deb, he yells & out runs Ms. James. She looks at dad & runs to him, you big Fuking Dipshit, where the hell have you been these past ten years & she slaps him hard across the face.

Did I mention Dad & Deb were childhood best friends/adult best friends until he left?

Liz lets out a little growl, and dad pulls her into him. Tears in his eyes as Mr.&Ms.James hug him.

They pull away & Mr. James says oh little Dovey I'm so sorry for squishing you but this doofus is your grandpa mommy's daddy. My baby looks at him & smiles hi. Dovey looks over to me and tells mommy. Dad, Liz, Mr.&Ms.James walk into the house while I hang out with lily & Jesse. May is just standing looking, so I hand Dovey off to an overexcited auntie Jesse. I walk over to May & say look, May, I know you hate me with every bone in your body. Before I can say anything else, she starts crying, and I'm so so so sorry, Rose. I had to be mean to you if I wanted to live.

Mom threatened to kill Mark & me if we didn't play along with hating you. She was/is mad because dad said he was coming back for you & not her. I always wanted to be your older sister and be an auntie to baby Dovey but do you remember two years ago when I had a broken leg & arm? It wasn't because of a car crash, like everyone was saying. It was because mom found me holding Dovey one night while you slept. I heard her crying and went outside because u didn't seem to be waking up. I put her back to sleep that night and gave her a little kiss & when I walked out of your shad mom was standing there pissed off. She pulled me into the house by my hair. I was screaming, but no one seemed to hear it. Once inside, she threw me down the basement stairs. I broke my arm then she made me get in the car; we drove until she intentionally crashed the car. That's when my leg broke once we got to the hospital that night she told me if I tell anyone what happened, she will kill me. Then she laughed, saying she had drugged you that night, hoping it would kill you.
