I could feel the betrayal radiating off of Damon's body. He looked at me with a mix of disgust and sadness. I felt guilty, so incredibly guilty. I can only imagine how heartbroken this sight makes him. With his entrance, the witch was distracted. I knew that this might be our only opportunity to escape.
