I summoned Steph and Aurora to my office. I needed to hear what happened from them. If Aub decided to plead his case after getting the twenty strokes, I’d listen to him, too.
I dropped the pad in my hand when Nathan entered my office with Steph and Aurora. I remembered Aurora was one of the kids we brought in for adoption. Among all the families that signed up for adoption, Steph was the most suited for her. And Aurora said she liked her.
