Chapter 6: Julia and Diamond set out into the stormy afternoon, their makeshift cart loaded with supplies from the cafe's storage room. The wind howled and rain lashed down, but they trudged on, determined to deliver the goods. As they navigated the slippery streets, Diamond's laughter and chatter kept Julia's spirits high. They made a unlikely delivery duo, but they worked together seamlessly, their bond stronger than any storm. Their first stop was the nearby bakery, where they delivered a batch of freshly ground coffee beans. The baker's face lit up with gratitude, and he handed them a warm loaf of bread as a thank you. Next, they braved the flooded streets to reach the town's only grocery store, where they delivered a crate of fresh produce. The store owner's eyes widened in amazement as Julia and Diamond splashed through the doorway, their cart laden with goods. With each delivery, Julia and Diamond's confidence grew. They were doing it – they were keeping the cafe's supplies flowing, despite the storm's best efforts to stop them. As Alex stepped into Julia's cafe, little did he know that fate had a surprise waiting for him.
