By the close of work, Ruby went home immediately. As she entered the house, Stephan greeted her warmly, noticing the fatigue in her eyes. "You look exhausted, Ruby. Tough day?" he asked with concern.
Ruby nodded, acknowledging the long day. "Yeah, I've been swamped with work, especially with your office project deadline approaching," she admitted wearily.
Stephan frowned slightly, sensing her stress. "Take your time, Ruby. Your well-being is important," he advised gently.
Ruby appreciated his concern and smiled gratefully. "Thanks, Stephan. I'll keep that in mind" she promised.
Just then, the housekeeper announced that dinner was ready. Ruby quickly excused herself to freshen up and check in on Ethan before joining Stephan downstairs for the meal.
