The Nameless One - Prologue

254 Words
"So, tell me young one, what is the price you're willing to pay?" If you ever see a bright pink neon lights flickering in dark alley, pay no attention to it. Move on with your life! If you see a red door that is so eerie yet calming at the same time, do not knock on it, do not enter! Move on with your life! If you ever read the words "Enquire about your heart's desire" in an antique store, turn away, do not be tempted by it! Move on with your life! Turn away now! Do not say I did not warn you! The price to pay is far too much, far too heavy. Do not believe in the devil! Move on with your life! Some call this shop a devil's store, a witch's hideout, a liar's den. Anything you inquire, she'll reply; anything you desire. he'll supply. No one truly knows what the store owner looks like, everyone's description was different when they came out. Some said she was as lovely as an angel, others said he was as ugly as a devil. Some said he was a young child;  others, an ancient old hag. Who's to say what was right or wrong. Whatever you do, whomever you come across, that was only one thing that's true, your hearts desire can be true as long as you pay the price, your price.  This is my last warning to you, move on with your life, turn away! Do not be tempted by the devil!
