👑 IMMORAL LADY 👑

Emperor Damien stood staring right at the now empty rock with series of thoughts going through his mind. His hands right behind him, his face blank as he inspected the whole area.

Then Kai appeared behind him going straight on one knee and lowering his head.

"I failed your majesty. I couldn't get her". Kai said so much pressure his voice, as the emperor's broad back faced him.

"Do you think she's a witch?". Emperor Damien's voice came and Kai blinked before opening his mouthto speak.

"I…according to the heavens she's supposed to be the new Queen…

Kai kept quiet the moment the Emperor turned and his sharp gaze met him.

"Queen? She's a weakling". Kai could feel the hidden scoff in the Emperor's voice and he blinked in confusion.

"But she pulled out the sword of life and death from the rock which was almost tagged impossible and she dodged your aim also which has never happened. I think she's not really a weakling….

"But a witch. She has no spiritual aura and her hair's nothing like those of supernaturals". The Emperor stated and Kai couldn't still bring himself to understand, till the Emperor turned his back on him again.

"Inform the Queen Mother, tomorrow's selection should not only involve the nobles alone, every young lady in this kingdom should partake in it anyone unwilling to do so shall be executed in the city's hall". Emperor Damien ordered authoritatively before disappearing into thin air and Kai bowed in affirmation before rising to his feet.

"Someone finally removed the sword of life and death after hundreds of years of trials. Isn't this a good news? Or I misunderstood something?". Kai questioned himself before disappearing also.

It was an abandoned almost falling apart mini bar, located right in the middle of a designated mini forest and Ming stood in front of it pacing thro and fro impatiently waiting for Jade's return even though he doubted it.

"Ming!! I'm back!!". Jade screamed running towards him and Ming's eyes widened.

"You're back I'm so relieved!!". Ming gasped rushing to hug her but she ran into the abandoned bar and he blinked before going in also, immediately Jade shut the door.

Then she fell to the floor and began panting madly.

"What's wrong? Did anything happen while you were in the f*******n forest?". Ming asked standing right in front of her.

"It did. But it's over now. Now tell me how much this expensive looking baby will cost!!". Jade asked with a satisfactory smile on her face as she showed Ming the sword of life and death and Ming gasped falling to the ground.

"My gawd. My love for fish won't make me see well". Ming muttered rubbing his eyes and Jade stood up kicking his knee and he groaned out in pains.

"You're jealous I caught a bigger means of income than you right! Well of course it'll be huge cause I almost lost my life acquiring this baby and through it i'll slap my wealth in Oldie and everyone else's ugly face!". Jade smirked caressing the sword in her hand and Ming stood up instantly snatching it from her and throwing it to the floor.

"You can't touch that!". Ming said and Jade frowned.

"Are you crazy?! What if the price drops cause of a scratch on it!". Jade snapped picking up the sword but Ming took it from her again throwing it to the ground.

"Ming!!". Jade yelled.

"That's not an ordinary sword okay! Countless of demons were slayed with it and it's supposed to be glued to a rock…

"It was glued to a rock but I removed it. Anything bad in that?". Jade asked looking at the sword on the floor and Ming blinked thrice staring at her, before breaking into a mocking laughter.

"You removed it? You can't even cast a few spells and you say you pulled out what the late Emperor couldn't pull? Oh please, spare me with your lies!". Ming mocked fanning hinself with his palms and Jade frowned pulling his ears.

"I really removed this sword okay! I'm not lying!". Jade sneered and Ming laughed out.

"No one can remove the sword of life and death from its rock. It was seized by the heavens!!". Ming scoffed pushing her away from him and Jade stood glued to her spot.

"Sword of life and death? The same sword father talked about earlier?". Jade asked in puzzlement.

"No, the same one we dreamt about. Since you don't seem to want to use your head". Ming rolled eyes and Jade then gasped holding her face.

"I removed a cursed sword from it's prison?! No wonder the lightening wouldn't stop coming to strike me!!". Jade exclaimed and Ming held his own head not believing a word.

"I'm not lying!!". Jade snapped kicking his knee and he held it tight in pain.

"I would have been dead if an handsome figure didn't come to my rescue". Jade said smiling as she hugged herself.

"Where's the figure now? Still in your dreams?". Ming said not believing a word and Jade stopped smiling.

"He's back at the forest. I left him and ran for my dear life, I'm too young to stay while he battles with the lightening what if the lightening changed it's target to me again?! Who would make money in my place…Wait money? I'm rich now aren't I?!". Jade asked suddenly in realization.

"What do you mean?". Ming asked.

"If i was able to remove the sword that means I'm the emperor's wife right?! I get to be the queen over Mina and Bae…

"That's impossible! Rumors has it that the Emperor is more than we imagined, even in the past, his past wives died in his hands but the late Emperor his father, lied that they all died in the hands of demons!". Ming said and Jade picked up the sword.

"That means he'll kill me too? I'll just return this". Jade said before walking out of the place.

"Yeah! Good idea, cause it'll be mad if I bow to you in the future!!". Ming said going after Jade.

Jade came out of the castle, like the blind person she was since that's how everybody knew her, with only a box of her most important stuffs no clothes, only to see Ming waiting for her already.

Earlier that morning her father had informed her about the Queen Mother's invite for her to join the selection and had told her to leave for the palace immediately.

"Has your powers boost now? It's supposed to come overnight". Ming asked and Jade shook her head negatively as she walked.

"I think it's you the Emperor's searching for". Ming said.

"Good for him". Jade replied before walking away.

"Where are you going to?!". Ming asked following her.

"The palace, i have a hunch I'll be rich very soon". Jade replied with a smirk.

The Emperor stood his gaze piercing through the rock as he kept wandering how the sword was back again on it and Kai appeared behind him, his head bowed, but his eyes soon widened seeing the sword back.

"It's the same girl who returned the sword. I can smell her". The Emperor said and Kai gasped.

"You have a message to relay?". Emperor Damien said his eyes still on the sword.

"Yes your majesty. The Queen Mother has done as told and needs permission to start an introduction of the ladies". Kai said.

"Tell her to skip whatever introduction she has in mind and bring all the ladies in here right now". Damien said his gaze darkening and Kai's eyes widened.

"All of them into the f*******n forest?". Kai gasped.

"Their first test is to pull out this sword right in front of my eyes". Emperor Damien said before disappearing and Kai sighed.

'It's obvious he's just after the mysterious lady. The contest doesn't even mean anything to him anymore'. Kai thought and went on his message..

"Someone took and returned the sword?!". A masked figure in all black asked in shock as he stood up from his seat, then his messanger nodded.

"From the look of things it's going to be one amongst the ladies participating in the Queen's selection tomorrow". The messenger said and his master drew nearer to him.

"I'm guessing Damien's also confused". The figure said to his messanger who only bowed.

"Keep your eyes on everyone participating in the Queen's selection contest and inform me if you find anyone suspicious". The figure said goimg back to his seat andhis messanger nodded before going back to seat.

TRAINING GROUND>>

Almost about 500+ young women of the kingdom stood assembled as the Queen Mother with her head maids stood on the podium in front of them addressing them.

"Training's supposed to starts right now but the Emperor has different plans for us". Queen Mother Wei started her sharp gaze on each and every maiden and she could see the shocked look on some faces mostly the girls from humble backgrounds while the other from noble households only had huge frowns on their faces.

It was obvious they still hated the fact that poor girls who could pass as their maids are going to be fighting for the Emperor's attention like them.

Then Mina who stood arrogantly in the front row raised up her hands and her sisters rolled eyes at her. Bae in jealousy raised up her hand to also.

"You may speak". The Queen Mother permitted.

"The Emperor's change of plans has a lot to do with the beggers who joined us right?". Mina asked and almost all the girls from humble background began mumbling but none dare confront her.

The Queen Mother then pointed at Bae to ask hers also.

"I…Did the Emperor summon them along so they could be our helpers…

"Trash". Jade spat from behind and everyone turned to look at her and they gasped.

Then she bent towards Jade and helping her up.

"Sorry for what my sister did to you". Mina said and Jade though blind blinked in shock. The other sisters blinked in puzzlement also and Bae glared at Mina.

'Is this witch trying to use me to curry favour with the Queen?'. Jade thought.

"Isn't Jade your sister too Minnie?". Hani, Minister Ling daughter asked walking elegantly towards them, her garments obviously the most prettiest amongst them and Mina smiled.
