✤ Adrian ✤ For a long moment, neither of us moved. Sera stood in my kitchen with the key I had given her tucked safely into her pocket, her cheeks still flushed from our first kiss. Her eyes were soft, almost shy in a way I hadn’t seen before, and something inside me loosened at the sight. The tension I had been carrying since this morning, the panic, the guilt, the worry, drained a little. Not enough to calm me completely. But enough to breathe. “Come on,” I said quietly.
