✤ Sera ✤ I sat under the old oak near the west lawn, the one with roots so large they pushed through the earth like bones beneath skin. It was the only quiet spot I could find on campus, everything else buzzed with exam panic, coffee-fueled chatter, and the endless footsteps of students rushing from one obligation to the next.
