Star woke up to someone softly stroking her hair. The sensation of it was comforting and she felt safe. When she realized It was Brightwit stroking her hair, she imediatly became defensive and closed off. Star sat up and said "What do you want Bri?!" Brightwit looked starteld, Star never talked to her that way, and barly even said a word to anyone else. "Star?" said Brightwit "What happend to you?" "Did someone make fun of you again?" Brightwit added on second thought. Star shook her head no "then what happend?" "I... I like you Bri, but you said the dress was for someone special and it's not me!" exclaimed Star. "Who told you it was not for you?" Inquired Brightwit." Star looked taken aback "Well no one said that but... I mean... It can't be me, I am a nobody!" " You are not a nobody, you are a very special person to me." Star still looked confused, so Brightwit made it as clear as posible.
"The dress is for you Star, I hear that there will be a ball this year and I want you to go with me and I want everyone to be jealous that you are mine." Star was shocked, she did not ever think that her feelings would be reflected by someone as special as Brightwit. "So Star" Said Brightwit cautiosly, not wanting to scare Star off, but needing to ask a question. "So umm..." Brightwit tried again, her mouth dry. Star got the message. "You want me to go out with you?" "Yeah" Said Brightwit, nodding "Well then I say YES!" exclaimed Star At that moment Madam Pomfry and Renee burst into the room "Uhh... false alarm she is fine now." Said Brightwit awkwardly "Oh" Said Madam Pomfry "Thats good, I guess I'll go now." As Madam Pomfry and Renne left, Star got out of bed, grabed her black robes and yellow tie, and went to the bathroom to change. As Brightwit was alredy dressed, she just fixed her hair while she waited for Star. Once Star was dressed, the pair went down to the great hall for lunch, hand in hand.
