Chapter 9: The truth comes out

After Alex escaped from the Blood Hunter Castle with the injured Evelyn, he knew that if the conflict between the two tribes was not completely resolved, they would never have peace. So, while Evelyn was recovering from her injuries, he decided to explore the truth of a thousand years ago again, regardless of his own fatigue and pain, to find the key evidence that could completely convince the two tribes.

Following the clues he got from communicating with the mysterious hermit, he crossed a barren desert. The scorching sun was high in the sky, scorching the earth, and the hot sand made every step extremely difficult. The wind whistled past, blowing up yellow sand all over the sky, making it almost impossible to open your eyes. After several days of trekking, he finally came to an ancient ruin hidden deep in the desert. The walls of the ruins were engraved with mysterious symbols and patterns, exuding an ancient and mysterious atmosphere.

Alex searched the ruins carefully, leaving no corner untouched. Finally, in a secret tomb, he found a glimmering stone tablet. They began to reflect on whether the hatred between the two tribes for many years was really groundless, and they also had more understanding and support for the relationship between Alex and Evelyn.

Afterwards, Alex and Evelyn joined hands and once again showed the slate in front of all the tribesmen at an important gathering of the two tribes, revealing the conspiracy of a thousand years ago. When the people of the blood tribe and the wolf tribe saw this solid evidence, they immediately talked about it, and many tribesmen showed hesitation and contemplation on their faces. However, some stubborn elders in both tribes still adhere to traditional concepts and are unwilling to let go of hatred easily. They believe that even if there was a conspiracy thousands of years ago, the blood tribe and the wolf tribe have deep resentment and it is impossible to resolve the past with just a stone slab. The existence of these diehards is still a huge obstacle to the reconciliation between the two tribes, making the situation more complicated and delicate. The challenges faced by Alex and Evelyn are far more severe than they imagined.
