All the boundaries we set between us snap in that instant.
We move together, as if something greater than us finally lets us go. For a second, the rules I’ve always followed try to pull me back. Don’t touch what you can’t keep. Don’t make promises you can’t keep.
I’ve built my whole life around not wanting this. Not needing anyone this much.
My wolf doesn’t care. He pushes aside every excuse and goes straight for the only truth I feel deep down.
