Chapter Sixteen

Later the day we stopped at Thane's mother's house to tell her that we was getting marry. Thane's mother was already planning our wedding since Thanksgiving. Ben and Jared was already at their mother's when we arrived. "Did the police find out who hired the asshole to kidnapped Isabella?" Ben asked as I looked away. Thane placed his arms around my shoulders, "Not yet." 

Thane sighed, "They may have found her mother's boyfriend's body in New York." Jared hit his fist on the island, "I swear, Jeremy and Steven was working together." Thane tilted his head as I looked up at him, "What you thinking?" He shook his head, "I think Jared maybe on to something. It is funny who those two was in the same place at the same time." I tilted my head, "Right, Steven would go after you because I you are keeping me safe." 

Thane nodded as he finished my sentence, "Right, And that Eric guy was to pick up as you took off." I shook my head, "But Eric was confused on who Steven was." Jared sighed as he grabbed a beer from Ben, "What if they knew that they where both going to be there but didn't know who each other was." Thane nodded his head, "We all know that my father had some type of involvement due to where I was able to find, Bella." I tilted my head wondering if it possible when Thane's phone went off. He held up his finger and walked towards the living room, "Be right back." 

Ben and Jared looked at me as the smirked when Jared asked me, "When are you planning the big day for?" I shrugged my shoulders as Mickey entered the kitchen, "Big Day? What big day?" I looked down to my new ring on my finger when Jessie that was on Mickey's arm looked down and grabbed my hand when she squealed, "Oh My God. She getting marry." Mickey tilted his head at me as he darted his eyes to the ring then to me, "Are you sure, Isabella?" I nodded my head, "He is the one." 

He smirked as Thane came walking back into the kitchen pale. I ran to him as he placed his arm around my neck, "That was Jamie." I looked at up as I narrowed my eyes when he took a deep breath, "Kelly is missing." I pulled back from as I pointed at his chest, "We got to find her. If she was kidnapped they can do what Eric did to me." Thane grabbed my wrist and pulled me into him, "We will find her. I have my buddy's team already looking for her."  

I nodded my head as I took a deep breath, "I don't like Jamie but she has tried to prove that she changed and her daughter was just wrapped into the web because of those two." Thane nodded to me as he placed his hands on my arms, "I know. And I know this is hitting close to your heart right now." He sighed as he looked into my eyes, "Don't shut me out. Let me help you get through this while he do what we can to help." I placed my hands on his face as my thumb slid on his jawline to his cheek, "I wouldn't. Not this time."

He leaned to me as he placed his lips on my forehead as Mickey tilted his head, "No what is this about you asking my sister to marry her and not ask me if you could." Thane smiled at me as Mickey punched his arm, "Asshole." Thane laughed as he turned to Mickey, "Sorry man. I should have asked you first for hand in marriage." 

They punched reach other back and forth as I started to get into my thoughts as I smiled at them. I remember Noah and Antonio saying that my father was in jail. Do I tell Thane that I want to see him to ask him why he left his family and why he killed Alexia's mother. If I was really is daughter and if Alexia is really my sister. Thane tilted his head at me as he noticed I started to withdrawn myself from the group, "Bella, What is going on in your mind right now?" 

I shook my head, "I think I want to meet Harold Menéndez." Thane's eyes widened as Mickey looked up at Thane, "Who the hell is Harold Menéndez?" Thane looked at me as he looked into my eyes, "Noah and Antonio thinks that Harold is Bella's biological father." He tilted his head, "Menéndez's name sounds familiar." Thane smirked, "Alexia, maybe Bella's half-sister." Mickey tilted his head at me, "Wait, Noah's girl." I nodded as I looked back Thane, "I met them yesterday." 

Mikey looked at his phone then showed Thane a text, "So this text makes more sense. 'Game On'" Thane threw his head back in a roar of a laugh, "You know Antonio and how he loves playing games. He wants to playout who is going to be the best man." Mickey shook his head, "I am glad I found out through you two than one of those knuckleheads." I giggled as Thane and Mickey smirked as they haven't hear that sound come out of me in a month since that day I was kidnapped and rapped. Mickey pointed to me then to Thane, "What ever you and Antonio is using for her therapy. Keep on doing it. She is coming back to us after a month of darkness." 

I blushed as Mickey tilted his head then rolled his eyes, "Come on, I didn't need to know what therapy." Thane wrapped his arm around my neck as he pulled into his hard chest as he looked at his phone, "Hey, you are the one that said therapy and it made her blush. It is you that are making assumption." Mickey picked his finger, "No no. Don't go all Antonio on me." Thane looked at Mickey, "I think it is time to plan a trip to New York." Mickey looked up at him, "Why?" He sighed, "They have tracked Kelly to New York." I looked up at with my eyes widened, "Thane, The auction house." 

He stepped back as he placed his phone to ear as he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the living room, "Antonio, Do me a favor?" He paused, "When you get into New York later, Check to see if there a new girl added to the roaster for the Auction house. Her name is Kelly. I will have Jamie send me a recent picture for you." Thane pulled me into him as he kissed my forehead, "She was taking from the shelter that her and her mom was staying at to get away from my father." He sighed, "I think my father is involved with the Auction house." Thane nodded as they hung up. 

I looked up to him, "What did he say?" He smirked at me, "He said if he finds her there that he will buy her and keep her with him to keep her safe." I nodded at him as he sighed, "Bella, Thank you. I wasn't thinking about that." I shrugged my shoulders, "It was something about what the Detective that said to me about the auction house. I am thinking your father is more than just involved with the auction house." I tilted my head, "I think you are right." 

We left his mother's and headed home to pack for New York. Noah is going to allow us to stay at one of his properties that he owns until we head back home. Thane placed his hand on my stomach as he drove, "I love you, both." I smirked at him and tilted my head on where this is coming from, "We love you." He rubbed as he sighed, "I will talk to the detective about you going to see your father and finally get answers about your life and Alexia's." He sighed, "I know he is in Upstate New York so while we are out there. We can figure out how to meet him and get the answers you need." I nodded my head as I thanked him.
