Chapter 07 - The Plan

POV - Axel

"What the f**k were you thinking Amelia. You knew she was my mate why would you give her your keys. I wouldn't hurt her you know that. I don't know what happened. I don't know what she heard of how she feels about everything." i ran my hands through my hair tears starting to fall at the situation. "Amelia please. I need her." I fell into my sister's shoulder. Even if she only found out about the Mate bond last night I can't believe she would help her get away. She knows I would never hurt her...

"I'm sorry Axel. I trust her she's doing what's right for her. whatever she heard or saw it really f****d her up. Felix is stronger than anyone I know. She's on her way to the Uni now and I am going to leave to meet her after packing." she looked at me with pitty. She knows something I don't or she thinks I have f****d up too badly. what can I do? I don't even know what I did or what made her upset.

"I was fighting FOR her against father. I need her here to stand by me during this. I need it to be clear that she is the right choice." i wiped up my stray tears and straightened up. Any other person and I would not have even considered crying. But Amelia knows me. "I have to come with you. Just for the day or the night or whatever Felix will give me once there. I have to make it right before Alpha school starts before the semesters kick off."

"I think you're right" she nodded at me with a reassuring smile. "I hope you've not f****d it up here brother. She and I both saw how close you and Dee were last night before bringing your attention to Felix and your announcement to us. I can understand why she might have doubts. You will make this right. You have too..."

I gave her a hug trying to calm myself with her familiar scent, but I only wanted the rain... I will go get her "I will bring my truck around call her brother to the Alpha house to discuss I need his help in this as her brother"

I would reject Dee still and let the pack know their future Luna my fated mate had been found. I couldn't tell them who yet they would wonder why she ran but that would be fine as no one had seen her mark. it would work out. her brother and my sister will know they both love her and accept her. But I will win her back and she will be my Luna.

POV - Jake

"Jake it's urgent get to the Alpha house" Amelia never contacted me so it had to be important. I got up pulling my clothes on as I ran out to the Alpha house which was about 5 minutes away. I didn't think I needed to respond they know me they now I'm their future Beta. My loyalty was to the Alpha house.

When I got there it was just Axel he looked like hell. "Jake thank you for coming i need you man. I think I f****d up with your sister. last night we mated and I marked her and all was fine and then this morning she left without a word out the window and has taken Amelia's car to hear to Uni early. I don't know what I'll do without her." he was tearing up. it made my heart hurt for him.

I agreed with his father. when we realised they were mates a couple of years ago now he discussed with me the future beta about our options. I was more upset and annoyed that he may have f****d up with Dee than i was about Felix.

flash back

"Jake, the pack needs a strong Luna and I am sorry but your sister is not that. your family is a good match but that dirty wolfless girl is going to ruin our image. she stains your family as it is" Alpha Ramone had never talked about my sister in such a dirty way but I could see the disgust in his eyes. i love my sister but I had to agree he was right she was too weak even with her secret training. she would make us weak. But my family needed the boost of the relationship. to be taken seriously. for me to be respected as the beta.

"I understand Alpha. but what about Axel he will never agree to just choose someone else. He won't sit by if there is any option he will choose his fated mate you know how he feels." he always admired the bonds people have and the mate bond was something he always talked about ever since young. He wouldn't see clearly. If this was going to work he couldn't have a choice and if it was going to be someone other than my sister I needed to find a way to get my dad on board. "What about Dee. She has a strong wolf and is still from a Beta house hold. My dad will be more likely to be on board if he has benefit from this. He won't sit by while we take away the opportunity for our families to become closer and he won't let his daughter be hurt for no reason. This would take away Axels choice and everyone would be happy."

Alpha Ramone thought for a while. Taking in my words before a huge grin spread across his face "Beta I knew you were the right one to go to. I was worried your family would be against my decision and your father though loyal has his flaws relating to his first mate and that b***h looks just like her. I will set up the mating of Dee and Axel. You must be willing to do what is needed and make sure she does not complete the bond. It should be easy without her wolf but if they seem close you must act."

end of flashback

i was annoyed I had failed the Alpha letting it get this far but I couldn't let it go further. "Axel I am so sorry about all of this. take me with you to meet her she will listen to me" I knew if I could just talk to her I could make sure that Felix never completes the mating and never becomes Luna. If she was ready to reject him or accept his rejection he would have no choice but to go for Dee. This might be a long game but I can put this into action over the next couple of days before Alpha school and then over the 3 years they will learn to be apart and it will all come together before he is made Alpha.

Axel smiled at me with pain still in his eyes "I knew you would help me. I know you love your sister and you will do what's right" he's right I do love both of my sister's and I will always do what is right by the alpha household and that is Dee. Felix will find a human or something and move away from the pack. I love her but she doesn't belong no matter how much she trains...
