I didn't bring up the whole Darius thing with Mark since Liv was around. She confirmed she couldn't come for dinner due to family stuff and that worked well for me. She wouldn't be there to witness anything wild.
She still didn't know about my previous mate but was aware now of Mark and I being mates. We told her over the day so the we didn't have to hide it from our mutual friend. It was better this way. He also said if she sees the Mark he will claim it but only if he had to. To make it easier on me. I'm so greatful for him.
once we got home after class we walked through the door to the flat we came in from the back and walked through to the kitchen. Darius was the first to speak and just calmly said "Should have known you'd come in from the back Mark"
