chapter eight:

evangeline proverb: I was moved when I saw the rose path , I couldn't believe that he did this all for me. I fought hard to keep my tears at bay as I walked further into the house. He had decorated the whole house with dim lights and a rose path leading to a narrow hallway, I followed the rose path and was met with a door with letters 'movie room ' in gold. I opened the door and was met with hundred of roses spread all over the room with a big t.v. on the front wall with a sitting area. Daniel hugged me from behind and gently kissed on my shoulder before saying 'do you like it , love?' I stared at him in bewilderment 'like?? I squeaked 'I love it daniel thank you I told him while giving him a hug. we settled on a chick flick movie , I snuggled closer to his side.The movie ended after some time i was about to ask for another movie when i heard a bang from downstairs it sounded like a bullet firing my whole body went rigid and pale , i looked at daniel to confirm my fear as i turn towards daniel the man i saw was completely different from my daniel his eyes were bloodshot red and his whole body was trembling with rage. Seeing daniel like this was devastating for me as he is always so sweet around me i had never seen him getting angry whenever he is around me he is so calm. my train of thoughts was interrupted when i heard another bang but this time it was louder and closer i begin to  hyperventilate , when daniel saw me getting scared and anxious he immediately came towards me and hugged me to give me some sort of comfort i was so confused as to what was happening here . Daniel continued to say soothing words while rubbing my back to calm me down just as i got my breathing under some control the door to the movie room opened and five men in black suits with guns came towards us. Daniel put me behind him to protect me from the men , the five men started fighting with daniel , while daniel was fighting them one more man came in the room towards me and put a cloth on my mouth as soon as the cloth was on my mouth i started feeling dizzy i tried to call daniel for help but before i could utter a word my whole body shut down and i felt someone dragging me.
