As we walked, I prayed we would get to Stormclaw faster because at this point, we were all exhausted. “Did you see something? You looked devastated when you came back.” My mother urged me to talk to him. I didn't want to say anything so as not to trigger any emotions, Laura had left because of Mascot so I had to wait when we were resting. Laura was staring blankly at the water bank while we put up our tent at a hidden corner of the forest. I had made sure the tent was hidden because I didn't want to be attacked by Mascot and his team. “Laura looks so distant. What did you guys see at that hut?” My mother asked again. “Mum, we saw her Fiancé, someone who promised her marriage but bailed. Instead he came after me and I can't honestly explain why.” I explained to my mother in low tones.
