GENTLEMEN’S URGES
Dan Kočí returned to his post opposite the main entrance to the apartment house. He waited there a little more than an hour, until he got what he was waiting for: Lucie returned. But not by car, as he had been expecting, perhaps, but by tram.
He began to consider what his next move should be. If the same thing were to happen next week, he’d know for sure that Lucie’s copulationer (or should that be copulator?)1 comes to pick her up in his car, which he parks a little farther away, in the direction of Staré Brno. Covered, perhaps, by the ever-present brewery trucks. But what good would it do him, even if he were to get a close look at the car, and note down its mark and plate numbers?
