THE STUDIO ON ELIŠKA MACHOVÁ STREET
I suspect that when Kamil decided to build my villa on Eliška Machová street in the Žabovřesky neighbourhood, it wasn’t just because he’d come across a chance lot, where an earlier structure had been demolished, but because of the jolly fact that Eliška Modráčková would be living on Eliška Machová. Surely, that also played a role in his choice of locations. Kamil is ever susceptible to all sorts of sudden flashes of inspiration, ranging from admirable and mostly unrealisable intentions to the most cockamamie idiocies.
