Chapter 12 MYSTERIOUS PLACE PART 2 Melissa Fernando "Aaaa aaa aaa ghaaaaaaaaa....“ Without closing the bathroom door, I ran at the fullest speed ever like a scared rabbit. I practically did a superman-flying on the stairs. Sam Drakos came running towards me in his black boxer, halfway trying to wear his pants. I didn't dare to laugh, the scene upstairs was too traumatizing. Why did you make me witness such a sight, dear Lord?! Why!... That was absolutely terrifying. I don't want to have a heart attack at such a young age. Definitely no such desire. But hell why did I need to see that? Why, why, why? Couldn't you pity my poor eyes enough God to give me such a fright? It's my first day here and I was just on the point of dying a few minutes ago. "Merchandise, what happened? Why did you shout? Answer me dammit, I'm asking you something. Are you alright?" He looks like a panicked zebra with all those questions. He was looking at me with concerned eyes. "The b-bath, s-swl- flow oops. ..." The right words didn't come out of my mouth, but could you blame me... A big fat NO to that! Oh God, I can't even talk properly. Did I last the ability to talk because of that sight?! "I can't understand what you're talking about, what's wrong? Melissa Fernando please, you're scaring me now." I realized that he was using my full name but that was not important right now. "You see, there is- there blue..." Oh-oh no, okay, Melissa. Relax Melissa. "Take a deep breath, little Merchandise" Yes, long deep breath. 1, 2, 3... Yes, I'm okay, I'm good. Really, but I can't believe what I saw. And no, I didn't see anyone naked in there, but on the contrary, what I saw was a hundred times worse than that. Yes, I prefer the sight of a naked human to that one. Did I see correctly or was I imagining things? No, it can't be, I saw it right in front of my eyes. The water... And the water was even blue. How can that be possible, last but not the least, the SHARK? Yes, a shark not one but two. It was there in the water in the bathroom. I was becoming crazy, I left the door open so the water should have come out by now but how did it go there in the first place Damn, what in the name of God was that?!! "MERCHANDISE!" The voice snaps me out of my reverie immediately, I look at the now angry-Sam Drakos in front of me. "Sharks." "What..." Confusion was evident on his handsome face. I took a deep breath and then answered, "I was going to take a shower, but when I opened the bathroom door, I was met by a frightful sight. I saw water along with scary sharks inside. And don't laugh, please. You have to believe me, I know what I saw. And it was so sudden, my only point was to run out of there alive. But the sight made my yelling come out automatically. It was so terrific! Please just take a look, we need to do something." I said in a shaky voice. The next thing I heard was a hearty laugh from the very man to who I'd been explaining my scary witness and, yes, he dared to laugh at me in this situation. I would laugh too if it was in another case, but right now was really not the time. He continued to laugh and laugh and laugh, which was beginning to annoy me. I hope to teach him a lesson, but I can do that later too. At this moment the essential part was more needed. And that was to go upstairs and find out what was really going on in that bathroom. Where the hell is the owner of this house, by the way, who also happens to be my newly wedded husband? "Okay okay, let's go." He took my hand leading the way upstairs, but I could see that he was trying hard not to laugh. We entered the room, I got behind him still holding his hand. As we got towards the bathroom door, my heart hammered in my chest. But I was wondering how the water didn't flow out. He opened the door and then... "Aaaa aaaa aaaa~" I started to yell again. He clamped a hand on my mouth stopping my voice to go any further. "Relax little merchandise, now come here and open your eyes." I opened my eyes only to close them again. Oh my God, it was still there. How come this man appeared to be so calm? "We call this one a 3D floor little mer- chandise!" He said and laugh. My eyes widened as I heard him. A 3D floor... A freaking 3D floor! Holy moly, why didn't I think about that before? I knew about the 3D floor but have never seen one in front of me, okay I have but not like this one. I know that's weird, but it's true. "And those two aren't sharks, it's tuna fish, dear little merchandise." Now as I looked closely at it, I realized that he was right. It was not sharks. Damn it, I can't believe that I made a fool out of myself. "Why the hell is the floor in 3D? I could have a heart attack today because of that." I said in full annoyance but I was still slightly scared to walk on that. It looks so real. "That was funny though, you should have seen the look on your face a few minutes ago, and how I wish I had a camera to capture that face." He chuckled and then winked at me. "Okay, now I think it's time for you to use the bathroom. You don't look like the great Mrs Aries Alexopoulos right now." He sends me a sexy wink again and I blush to hear Mrs. Aries Alexopoulos. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I took out my underwear and my favourite outfit. A white blouse which had lace on the side and sleeves. And my tight black jeans from the suitcase Despite the scary floor, I had a nice long bath. Well it was not as scary as it was an hour ago. In fact, it appears to be quite mesmerizing now, but I was still not used to it. I finally got downstairs, I was really famished after everything that happened to start from yesterday. "So Mrs. Alex~" "Oh come on Martha, I told you to address me by my name." As much as I love being called Mrs. Alexopoulos, it was a bit too formal. I was in the kitchen, enjoying the delicious breakfast made by Martha. And her pancakes were more heavenly. Apparently, Martha Stewart was a sweet plump lady, maybe around 56 and she was the chef. There were five more cooks but she was the one who controlled the kitchen. "Oh no dear I can't do that, Mr Alexopoulos won't be please~" "I insist Martha and he is not here right now," I said, batting my lashes at her hoping that she would give in to that look. "Okay, Mel-Isa.." She said hesitantly and I gave her an encouraging smile. "That's better, do I get more pancakes, Martha?!" She laughs and laughed, gaining the attention of the other maids. "That is what I was going to ask you sincerely." "Oh, I see you have found a little merchandise already." I groaned, bumping my head on the table. When will this man stop with the ridiculous 'little merchandise?' If it was a nice cute nickname, I would never have minded but it's little merchandise! Seriously, what type of name was that? "Mr. Drakos, I d "Call me Sam and may I say, you look hot as chilli in that outfit." He sends me a seductive wink. "Sam, I don't think Mr. Alexopoulos would like you to talk to his wife in such a way to behave, my boy," I smirked at that. Sam was like a schoolboy getting a lecture from his teacher for being a bad boy. "It's okay Martha, and thanks a lot for your delicious breakfast. I enjoyed it, you are the most amazing Chef." I started, sending her a big smile which only dropped off my face when I heard a voice from behind causing me to stiffen. "Who gave you the right to provide her with food, Mrs. Stewart?"
