6:30 am on a Monday morning
"Oh s**t am already late"I screamed as i jumped off my bed and tossed the duvet to the ground.
I quickly rushed into the bathroom to take a short bath but that just a lie i spend hours in bathroom it has never been short and today won't be different.
It was already 7:48 when i was ready to go out i was supposed to be there at least 7:30 am surely going to be in huge trouble today.
As i closed the main gate of the house
A heard a car horn that sounds familiar
As the car moved towards me i saw his smiley face
"Good morning Cyril what are you doing here by this time"I asked him looking surprised.
"Good morning nessa i have been here since 6:20 am waiting for you to get down you really are not ready to give up your late habits am sure you will be late on your wedding day" he said to me giving me a serious face with a smile beneath it.
"I can't believe he has been here even before i woke up he is such a good friend grateful to God that i meet him"I thought.
"The more you are late the more they anticipate " I hinted giving him a funny wink.
He burst out laughing hard at me
"Oh nessa don't do that again get into the car already or you will be in huge trouble at work just direct me and i will drop you off"
"Ok Cyril thanks alot" i hopped into the car for a moment i forgot the trouble that awaits me.
As we got closer to the company i asked him to stop the car he pulled over to the company's garage and turned off the car
"Is this the company you were offered a job"he inquired raising his left eyebrow a bit.
"Yes Cyril is there a problem" He looked disturbed
"Well nessa i heard the Ceo of this company is arrogant and secretive too you should be carefull"he said with a concern look
"Oh about that i already meet him and trust me he is not beyond my capacity i can handle him nothing to fear" I assured him
"Alright best of luck nessa when you are done for the day just place a call to me and i will be here to pick you up"
He is always smiling and also very nice
"Ok then good bye thanks again" i came down of the car and made my way to the entrance Door.
It was already 9:10am

I have been staring at here from the window glass for a while now she looks so much like her but more beautiful and younger.As i watched her coming down from that car i felt like i have been lied to she said she was single so who was driving her well that is less of my concern now but she came late on her first day was definitely my business.
"Sarah send her to my office"
"Ok sir"
I hanged up
I fell into my seat been a while i got this upset and feel wronged by someone i don't know why i feel like this but i have to let it out.
Knock Knock
"Come in"
She walked in looking so innocent and calm before she could say a word i spoke first
"You were suppose to be one hour 15 minutes ago"my eyes fixed on her i don't know why.
"Am so sorry sir i woke up late i promise it won't repeat itself again" she said with her head bowed down.
How could she stand in front of me and tell a white lie this is crazy
I stood up and walked towards her there were only few inches left between us
"And you still had time to flirt in Your man's Car"I asked her
"I don't understand sir"
I held her hands this time around i was done playing around
"Now listen to me the moment you walk into this building i own you cause i pay for your services so be careful to spend your time wisely"
"You are HURTING ME" she screamed out then i saw the red marks i imprinted on her wrist i quickly let go her hand.
"What have i done?"I asked myself
Nessa's Pov
"Who do you think you are"I had tears in my eyes nobody has ever made me feel this helpless in all my life.
"I accept that i should have resumed earlier but you have no right to lay false accusations against me, claim me and hurt me like this you are in no position to do that" I shouted at him
His eyes had no emotions he looked so pale like someone who lost someone and has cried out all tears with nothing left only pain.
How can someone be so inhumane what is wrong with him?
"I will take my leave now" I walked out and slamed the door.
What kind of feeling is this i have never felt like this before i hate him for making me go through this. IT is just my first day and he is acting like he owns me.
MY wrist hurts like hell but i have nothing to use to ease the pain
"Vanessa"
"Yes ma sorry Sarah"
"Pls come over i need to show you some important files and the Ceo schedules" she said with a smile
"What happened to your wrist"she asked as her eyes meet my hand
"Oh it was from a the boiling kettle this morning " i lied to her.
"Hmm are you sure?"she asked me
"Yes"i replied her
"Okay let me give you a cream that will ease the pain" she offered
"Thanks a lot ma i really appreciate"I thanked her as she walked away
"She really is a mother figure"
I guess what my mother would look like didn't even get a chance to meet her.

"Calm down baby girl the more we wait the bigger our share"
"You keep saying this everytime i don't want to end up lossing everything"she said
"Things are working out according to our plans so nothing to be scared about"
"How long do we have to wait" she grumbled
"Atmost one Year but within that one year we will be doing other things to make us gain more money"
"Okay then i will just wait"
