Just Put Your Hands On Me

Mazikeen noticed Weston starting at her sneakily as she shook her ass to the music, but she pretended not to. Saturdays were great for this one reason. She could play whatever music she wanted as loudly as she wanted (as long as she could hear the phones ring). Mazikeen was truly in her element as her "Songs to Play When the Boss is Away" playlist played through the Bluetooth speaker. It was full of all kinds of music, but mainly vulgar rap that Todd hated. Just then, White Bars & War Stories by PillBilly came on and Weston looked at her confused. "Mazie, what the hell do you know about this?!" she giggled as she started rapping along to the song, pretending she didn't hear him. She was not about to show him her dirty south side. Mazikeen was originally from the streets of Antioch. She had come up from the dirt to where she was now. Poor little Weston didn't need to know she used to shake her ass at parties in the dead of night while her parents thought she was sleeping like an angel in her bed. Mazikeen used to be an alcoholic with a pill problem, but after having Sedona, everything changed, and she wasn't exactly open about that part of her life, so she went on ignoring Weston as the next song began playing. Pop It Like Rent Due by Lil Machete. Now this was her favorite song, and she couldn't control herself. Not only did she start rapping every word, but she knew she was about to start full-blown throwing it back, so she quickly made her way to the office, where she saw the salad Weston brought her still sitting on her desk. It was odd that on Weston's first day, he surprised her with lunch for no reason. Not just any lunch, but her favorite lunch. How did he even know her favorite lunch? She opened the salad, taking out the little plastic tray of chicken and Parmesan cheese, she dug the Caesar dressing, fork, and croutons out of the bottom and started assembling the salad. Mazikeen took this as the perfect excuse to get the music out of her system. She snapped the plastic lid back on her salad and started shaking it to the beat, both the salad and her ass. Just as the song ended, she caught Weston staring at her through the office window, s**t she forgot to close the blinds. For a married man, he sure does stare a lot, she thought to herself. She walked into the showroom with her salad and soda and plopped down on the couch right behind Tyler and Weston. "Having fun yet?" she asked, giggling as Weston struggled to put together the top piece of the display. "Bestie girl, if you don't shut up, I will pick you up and drag you over here to finish it," Weston playfully snapped as Tyler laughed. Mazikeen choked on her food a little as she imagined Weston picking her up. Just then, No Ties, No Lies by King Fade came on. "Oh s**t this song perfectly describes my ex-wife" shouted Weston. Mazikeen was suddenly more interested in Weston now. "Ex-wife?" she asked. "Yeah, I've been divorced for about a month now, but we split up about 3 months ago". The perks of her daddy being the judge, we got a speedy divorce." Mazikeen didn't want to tell him, but she was excited to hear this, with them both being divorced, then it was free-range to flirt as long as Todd didn't hear. "Well, that's good, I guess, if not, then I'm sorry to hear," she said, standing up and heading to the office. "No, it's definitely a good thing; she cheated on me with the mayor's son the entire time she was pregnant with our son Odin." She was shocked. How could anybody cheat on this pure Apollo of a man?! As she sat down at her desk, she heard Lena Vale's Half Gone start playing. The slow, edgy, raspy song spilled through the speakers, and her mind wandered to Weston and how she kept seeing the Roscoe in his waistband peeping out every now and then. It was no surprise to her that he carried at work; so did Tyler. Tyler was well aware it was against company policy, but he didn't care one bit. She started her second round of calls as Weston and Tyler came into the office to hang out. She paused the music. Weston pulled the extra office chair up to sit between her and Tyler. He looked at her, "So what are you doing, bestie girl?" She turned slightly. "What does it look like I'm doing, Weston Duane?" he looked at her wide-eyed. Yes, she just middle-named this man to his face. He looked at her screen, then looked at Tyler. "How does she know my middle name?" Tyler laughed. "She knows everyone's middle name, dude," she laughed because it was true she did know everyone's middle name well, at least everyone working at her location. Weston scooted in closer to her. "I'm gonna get you back for that," he said playfully. He was so close she could smell his cologne mixed with the scent of cigarettes. She usually hated the smell of cigarettes, but on Weston, it smelled sinfully good. Once she had finished with her calls, she looked at Tyler. "Are you leaving at 4?" She didn't really need to ask. She already knew the answer. "You already know," he replied. "Wait, we close at 5. "Why are you leaving at 4?" Weston asked. "Because I don't take lunch, so instead I leave an hour early." Weston looked at her. "So you just close by yourself then?" she rolled her eyes. "Typically, Chad stays to help, but I can close alone if need be." just then Chad walked in the back door, he was done with deliveries for the day she rolled her eyes as he came into the office "Hey do you mind if I leave at 4 I didn't take a lunch on the road and I need to pick up my daughter" she signed "Sure go ahead" she looked at Weston "Do you want to leave at 4 as well?" Weston shook his head, "No, I'm good, I'll stay and help you close up. "I don't trust the crack heads around here anyway," she laughed, but secretly she was grateful to spend some one-on-one time with him. Just then, Weston grabbed her Cherry Dust off her desk and took a long, slow sip. "Oh, so we're sharing germs now?!" she said as she smacked him playfully. "Yeah, we are," he replied. As soon as 3:59 pm struck, Tyler remote started his truck. "I'll see you Monday, Mazikeen. "Weston, see you Tuesday," Tyler said as he headed out the door. "Bye guys!" Chad said, following "Off on Mondays?" she asked curiously "No my normal day off is Tuesday, but I swapped when I was still with Darren because I have court on Monday" "Oh ok" she said as she started counting the drawer, they both had Tuesdays off now that could be fun. Guess she'd just have to play it safe for now.
