"Huh?" I exclaimed, looking in the mirror as Eric stepped out of the car and opened the gate at my side. I was puzzled as Eric stopped the car in the scary darkness. Hardly anything was visible on the road. My gaze fell upon a roadside food truck, which appeared to be closing up for the day. "We are closed," the food vendor stated, wiping down the counter.
