CHAPTER 3

THE AFTER MATH

Luna eyes was wet from tears as she held the necklace and placed it on her chest before switching off the lights and laying on the bed

"Mom dad,good night"she whispered

LEONARDO EMPIRE

Leonardo sat on the edge of his bed, a cigarette dangling from his lips as he stared blankly into the darkness. His mind wandered back to his childhood, to the memories he tried to keep hidden. He remembered his father's words, the way he'd whisper daring feats into his young ears.

"LEONARDO, YOU'RE MEANT FOR GREATNESS. YOU NEED TO TAKE RICKS, PUSH BOUNDARIES,YOU ARE A MAFIA NOT A CUTE KID"

His father's eyes would gleam with a fire that both thrilled and terrified him.

As he inhaled the smoke, Leonardo's thoughts drifted to the countless times his father had pushed him to do things that made his heart race,things so dangerous, The memories swirled, a mix of excitement and fear. He exhaled slowly, the smoke curling into the air as he lost himself in the past.

Suddenly the door cracked opened revealing diana who was in a sexy dress that reached under her @ss

"Oh master,in the mood"she said in a seduce tone,Leonardo only took his finger out and gave her a sign to come closer to him and she smirked going closer to him before sitting comfortably on Leonardo thigh

MORNING/ORPHANAGE HOME

The dining hall buzzed with chatter as the children enjoyed their breakfast. Betty and Luna sat together, laughing and chatting with the others. Mother Superior watched from the sidelines, her eyes lingering on Luna ,she didn't have any feelings for luna at all,mother superior was planning to sell luna to a mafia without her knowing and she will have to be force,mother superior didn't care about any of the children,she just wanted money

Luna noticed the gaze and felt a shiver run down her spine. She looked up, meeting Mother Superior's eyes, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Luna's smile faltered, sensing something unspoken in Mother Superior's expression.

The warmth of the breakfast gathering seemed to fade for Luna, replaced by a sense of unease as she wondered what Mother Superior might be thinking

"Looks like you are in trouble"Bette said as she eats

"But I didn't do anything wrong"luna said taking her eyes off mother superior

"That's how she is,let's forget about mother superior,what about Rachel"betty asked

"Yeah I think I should call her"luna said taking her phone from her dress pocket buy she stopped when she heard the loud yell of mother superior

"What?what Happened to Rachel"mother superior yelled leaving with a maid who was crying

"What's going on aunty luna?"one of the kids asked

"Eat your breakfast Sofia"luna said and left with betty

BACKYARD

Everyone girl was crying after hearing what happened to Rachel in a club,luna and Betty couldn't believe it,mother superior just stand there watching the girls cry

"Oh no Rachel"Betty muttered with a sigh

"I told her but she didn't listen"luna whispered

"You see what happens when you don't keep your body for God,now look at Rachel,she's in hell now,all of you will have to learn a lesson about this,she was drugged,she couldn't handle,her so called boyfriend ran away and she died "mother superior yelled while some girls still cried

"leave"mother superior said and even left as luna was about to leave mother superior called her name and she stayed trembling

"You were the last person with Rachel"mother superior said and luna was really trembling,she had to tell the truth

"Yes mother superior,but I wasn't the last person,it was her boyfriend,i warned her,i tried my best,i told her it was sin,but now she's dead"luna said with tears

"Leave"mother superior said and she left quickly

LEONARDO COMPANY

A black car drive in and Leonardo stepped out,he was wearing a suit leaving the three first button,trousers and black shoe with glasses

Leonardo stepped into the office building, his presence commanding attention. Heads turned, and eyes followed him as he made his way through the lobby but his workers was were always scared of him, The ladies in the office couldn't help but stare, their gazes lingering on his chiseled features and confident stride,drooling over him

As he approached the reception desk, the receptionist looked up, a mixture of surprise and unease on her face.

"Good morning, Mr. Leonardo," she said, her voice a little shaky.

Leonardo smirked, his eyes narrowing slightly as he took in the receptionist's behaviour,she was scared

"What's wrong"he asked firmly

The receptionist hesitated, fidgeting with papers on her desk. "It's just... well, there's been a bit of a situation," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Leonardo's curiosity was piqued. "What kind of situation?" he asked firmly ,his tone sounding dangerous

"Hm sir your father is here"she said, her voice low,l Leonardo got angry,As Leonardo turned to elevator,the ladies in the office continued to steal glances at him, their faces a mixture of admiration and curiosity, all ladies were so crazy about having him to their sleves he was a man who commanded attention, and he knew it.

Leonardo stormed into the office, his anger evident on his face. His father, seated in one of the chairs

"What do you want?" Leonardo demanded, his voice cold and hostile

His father stood up, a calm expression on his face. "Leonardo, we need to talk."

Leonardo scoffed. "I doubt there's anything you can say that I'd be interested in hearing."

His father's expression didn't change, but his voice took on a hint of seriousness"Leonardo, you have to listen..."

Leonardo cut him off, his words dripping with venom. "You have no right to ask me for anything. You've never been there for me, never supported me. Why should I care about what you have to say?"

Leonardo and his father became palpable. His father's eyes flashed with annoyance but Leonardo didn't seem to notice, his anger and resentment boiling over.

"Get out," Leonardo spat, his voice rising. "I don't want to see you here again."

"I gave you this empire you have cause I thought you everything you had to know and this is how you repay me huh,you are gonna regret this"his father said then turned and walked out of the office, his head held high despite the anger on his face. Leonardo watched him go, his anger still simmering, his expression unyielding.

"Fûck"he hit his hand on his desk so hard.

NIGHT

Luna hurried down the dark street, rain falling heavily around her. She had been sent on an errand and was already running late. As she turned a corner, a black car sped by, splashing water from a nearby puddle all over her.

Luna let out a string of angry curses, her voice echoing through the night air.

"Are you kidding me?!" she shouted after the car. "Can't you even see people?!"

The car's brake lights lit up, and it reversed back to Luna. The window rolled down, revealing a figure in the driver's seat.

Luna, still fuming, walked up to the car.

"You just splashed water all over me! Do you have any idea how soaked I am now?" she demanded, her voice dripping with annoyance.

The driver looked at her with a mixture of amusement and, Luna didn't back down, continuing to vent her frustration. The driver listened, a hint of a smile on his face,not actually a smile a smirk,it was Leonardo and she had no idea he was a dangerous man

Leonardo stepped out of the car, his black suit and trousers exuding an air of sophistication. His dark hair framed his face, and Luna's eyes widened as she took in his chiseled features. She felt a flutter in her chest, surprised by his rugged yet refined appearance,as he got closer to her ,rain also pouring on his hot face he stared at her ñipples that were poked out and when she realised his gaze getting there she covered her ñipples with her hand

"Are you a fool or what,can't you say sorry huh"luna spat and Leonardo saw the cross pendant around her neck

"A nun who looks so yummy to eat" Leonardo said, his deep voice smooth and luna eyes widened

"Let me make it up to you,get into my car,let's make out ." He said with lust filled in his eyes as his hands went to her wet ass,she snap his hands off her

"My body is only for God,don't touch me," she said, trying to compose herself and Leonardo smirked.

"People think nuns are innocent and naïve but they are the most naughty"he whispered husky in her ear and luna eyes widened hearing this

"You are a sinner"she muttered stepping back, Luna had no idea that the man in front of her was a figure of power and danger in the city's underworld. Leonardo's demeanour was charming and courteous, hiding the true nature of his persona.

ORPHANAGE HOME

Luna trudged into the orphanage, her eyes cast down in a mixture of confusion and distraction. Mother superior stern voice greeted her,

"Luna, you're late again! What happened?"

Luna murmured an apology, but her mind wandered back to Leonardo. She couldn't shake the image of his chiseled features and piercing eyes. Mother superior scolding faded into the background as Luna's thoughts drifted to their encounter.

"...and what were you thinking, dawdling on the streets like that?" Mother superior words finally penetrated Luna's reverie. She looked up, her eyes wide with a mixture of fear and distraction. "I-I'm sorry, mother superior, It won't happen again."

Mother superior's expression softened but her tone remained firm.

“Get clean up for dinner”

Luna nodded ,her mind still preoccupied with the enigmatic stranger. She couldn't help but wonder who he was and why she couldn't get him off her head .

LEONARD EMPIRE

Leonard stepped into his dark room apartment ,his mind still reeling from the Encounter with Luna.He couldn't shake off the image of her pretty face and sparkling eyes,her pink lips,her curvy shaped body.As he poured himself a drink he finds himself wondering what she will be like in his world.

The sound of ice clinking in his glass accompanied his thoughts and for a moment, Leonard let his guard down allowing himself to indulge in the fantasy of having Luna by his side ,but the sound of his phone ringing shattered his moment, bringing him back to reality.

“Boss we have a situation”his associate's voice said on the other end.

Leonard's expression turned cold ,his mind snapping back into mafia mood.

“What is it” he asked ,his tone firm and commanding.The image of Luna’s face lingered in the back of his mind ,but he pushed it aside focusing on the situation at hand.

“We've got a problem with the shipment boss”,his men replied

“The rival family is trying to muscle in on our territories”

Leonard’s eyes narrowed “Handle it”

He hugged up on his phone ,his mind shifting back to business mood,the image of Luna’s face still lingered as he walked over to the window , gazing out at the city , Leonard's thought turned to strategyHe would need to take care of the rivalry, family and, fast to protect his empire.
