CHAPTER 1
THE CHURCH
Luna stood at the front of the church, her habit a stark contrast to the vibrant colours of the stained glass windows. She took a deep breath, and her voice soared as she sang a hymn. Her eyes closed, she let the music wash over her. As she sang with the other nun but her voice was the most beautiful of them all, her fingers found the cross pendant hanging around her neck, and she kissed it gently. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she made the sign of the cross on her body. The music swelled, and Luna's voice rose with it, filling the church with a sense of peace and devotion.
As Luna finished her song, the church fell silent. The congregation's eyes were closed, savouring the beauty of the music. Luna's gaze drifted downward, her fingers still tracing the cross on her chest. She felt a sense of peace settle over her, a sense of purpose in her devotion.
Soon she left the altar with other nuns and everyone began to clap for them,the closing prayer was over and everyone left

The mother superior was seen heading to her car when someone stopped her it was a lady
"Good afternoon"the lady said with a smile curled on her lips
"To you too,may I help you"mother superior said staring at her
"Yes can I say how wonderful you are"the lady complemented
"While thank......."
"It's because you truly have thought that girl a lot about Christianity and about God,jesus she's a miracle to this church,her voice warms the heart of bad people and also the good,she's pure too"the lady said
"Yes she is indeed can I leave now"mother superior said and wanted to leave but she heard luna calling her from afar
"mother superior"luna called as she got to her
"What, I have important things to do"mother superior said immediately getting pissed
"Sorry mother superior,i will like to follow sister Rachel to get some things,she said she needed help"luna said politely
"You can but be at the orphanage home early"mother superior said
"Sure I will be mother superior"luna said and left while mother superior left immediately
RACHEL APARTMENT
Luna sat in Rachel's living room, flipping through a book. She heard the creak of the stairs and looked up to see Rachel descending in a short, revealing dress. Luna's eyes widened in surprise,the dress's was so short and it was too revealing
"Rachel, what are you wearing?" Luna asked, her voice tinged with concern.
Rachel struck a pose, smiling mischievously. "Just trying out a new look. What do you think?"
"I thought you said we are getting food stuffs"luna said and Rachel laughed
Luna's expression turned serious. "Rachel, you're my friend, but as a nun, I have to advise you – that dress isn't exactly... modest,you are also a nun "
Rachel laughed, unfazed. "Oh, come on, Luna! I'm not going out with my boyfriend, I like expressing myself through fashion,no big deal."
Luna eyes widened hearing the word boyfriend
"Aren't you are nun anymore,this is called sinning Rachel"luna warned and Rachel scoffed
"Oh stop it luna,you are acting as if you are the best,who cares if am a nun,i don't care,i can't keep my body alone until am 26 to get married no it's my time to enjoy myself you too"Rachel said
"This is sin"luna warned but Rachel didn't mind,suddenly the door bell rang and Rachel got to the door opening,her boyfriend mike got in staring at luna who was dressed like s nun
"Babe what's is a nun doing in your apartments"mike said staring at luna who looked surprised
"She's my little sister ,a nun"Rachel lied
"Both of you are sinning, Rachel"luna warned again but Rachel was getting pissed off
"I don't have time for this babe let's go"Rachel said and mike held Rachel by the waist before leaving luna behind who was still surprised
