Under the Moonlight

chapter 9

Luna was on the bed trying to get some sleep but she couldn't get enough sleep at all,she couldn't sleep at all ,she sat on the bed drinking a glass of water then stood up

She decided to go around the mansion to take a walk,she got out if the room and walled on the hallway seeing Leonardo photos on the wall then she started remembering the way he touched her and kissed her earlier which got shivers into her spine ,she kept on walking around until she heard noises that made her frightened

The noise of a man crying,luna got so curious and went to the basement where she was locked before,she was still disgusted with that smell of blood

"Arghhhhh"an old man was beaten up in the basement making luna Surprised

"Old man if you want to be free,you will have to be working for me"Leonardo said darkly

"Never "the old man said and he was s**t on the head which made luna gasp in fear then she ran away ,as she ran away,she mistakenly hit a vase that fell to the floor

Leonardo men heard this ,even Leonardo but he requested to go on his on,when Leonardo came out if the basement,he was holding a gun,he got to where the vase fell that's when he saw luna on the floor with her foot bleeding

Luna got frightened when she saw the gun and blood all over his face

Please don't hurt me"luna pleaded,he didn't say a word,he just carried her in a bridal style and took her to her room

LUNA ROOM

When Leonardo got in with luna he placed her on the bed and stared at her with unreadable expression on his face

"Why are you snooping around"he asked,his sudden voice making her heart to skip a beat

"Well...I .. wasn't sleepy"she shuttered in fear

"I don't want you roaming around like that got it"he said firmly and she nodded still feeling pain on her leg,he went to get a first aid box and then he helped her with her injury

Something was strange about Leonardo,he was acting all Caring all of a sudden,it was strange

ORPHANAGE HOME{BASEMENT}

Betty eyes fluttered opened slowly,she sat upright and saw herself in a dark room"help!"she muttered and started coughing because of the dust she was smelling

"Why am.i in the basement"she asked no one in particular and remembered what happened between she and mother superior

"I can't believe mother superior did this to luna and me,i have to look for luna as soon as possible"she stood up looking for where she would escape and she saw a window ,she got there and opened the windows before coming out of it

MORNING(LEONARDO EMPIRE)

Leonardo was seen wearing a black suit trousers shoes and glasses too,he was also wearing his expensive watch on his hand ,he was sitted in the big luxurious sitting room

Luna was about to come downstairs and saw Leonardo ,their eyes locked into each other, Leonardo was really loosing it because of luna

"What's going on with me"he whispered and stood up leaving,luna went downstairs and got to where the other maids were working

LEONARDO SUITE

Leonardo was talking to a rival in his suite,a man with power,a man whose feared by the people,a dangerous ruthless man,more ruthless just like Leonardo,the room was filled with silent,only the smell of cigarette smoke between both ruthless mafia whose eyes were locked into each other

"Mr Leonardo aren't you gonna talk first"mr sage said with smirk with his cigarette at the conner of his lips,leonardo didn't say anything,only the sound of his ring on his finger sounding on the glass of whiskey he was holding

"Looks like my rival gas come to beg foolishly into my empire"Leonardo said with a mischievous grin

It got me sage angry that he throwed his glass of whiskey away

"Am not here to beg you,am here to declare a war,you think you are the most ruthless mafia here,am going to show you what am capable of"mr sage groaned and that's when Leona laughed darkly

"Really I dear you too"he said suddenly a sound was heard from the door,luna fell to the floor next to the door,when luna saw all the big men with guns and sharp jaw,she was scared,leonardo gaze darkened when he saw how mr sage was smiling at luna lustfully,his fist balled,he had no idea why he was angry but he hate people staring at what's his, he knew that his rival safe has starving for woman especially young girls

"Don't even dare stare at my girl like that"Leonardo said firmly and luna eyes widened

"Let's go"me sage said and left with his men

"Leave"Leonardo said to his own men and they left

Luna stood up, bowed and wanted to leave she was stopped by Leonardo who gripped her tightly at her wrist

"Ahhhhhh,please don't hurt me,am sorry"she cried

"I told you not to snoop around"Leonardo warned then suddenly he started hearing her crying,her tears made him felt uncomfortable that he had to leave her alone going straight to the glass wall and thinking why he was behaving like this,he sighed

"Me Leonardo your father is here to see you"a maid said as she got in and Leonardo eyes darkened,he left the suite quickly without staring at luna,who left the suite immediately running on the hallway before going to her room,she closed the door behind her and her heart was beating rapidly,she went to bed and hold her cross pendant tightly

"Oh god please save if I had sin with this devil please forgive me,forgive for all my sins please God"Luna left her room and was about to go downstairs when he saw Leonardo and his father but she couldn't see his father face

"I told you never to show your face again,don't you get it"Leonardo said firmly and darkly

"I need to see you,am your father,i helped you with this empire you have..."

"You do help me with anything,you are just a worthless piece of s**t,you are not my father"Leonardo said ,his voice laced with venom

"Why can't I see his father face"luna said trying to see his father face,so she decided to go downstairs when she went downstairs her eyes widened see Leonardo father

WHY SEE CAN'T REMEMBER

Little luna was seen crying as she ran with her mother necklace in her hand,as she ran Alexander men chased her ,as they chased her,she was hit by a car, which made her fell unconscious still holding hee mother necklace and Alexander men left because the car belonged to the cops

She found herself in the hospital not remembering what happened only the memories of what happened to her parents,she couldn't even remember the people face she saw,the ones who killed her parents

"Isn't this the same girl"he thought knowing it was the girl now luna eyes and Alexander eyes locked
