CHAPTER 5

FACE BY THE DEMON IT'SELF

LEONARDO ROOM

Leonardo was in his dark room shirtless while smoking cigarette at the conner of his lips,the door cracked opened and luna was pushed inside,she fell at the ground,her hair messy and face full with tears

Luna was getting weak from running and crying,her eyes roamed around and she found the room painted in black,this photos hanged on the luxurious wall and then her eyes went to him,he was shirtless and tattoos filled his body

Leonardo took steps to luna darkly and lustfully staring at her ,haven't down to her level and stared at the face he was craving for

"You are a monster"luna muttered getting week,the next thing that happened was that she fell on his arm unconscious,his eyes roamed around her body,his hands travelled all over her body tracing her curves,he didn't want her yet so he controlled himself ,his dark eyes went straight to her red face,which hands could dear touch her,he won't spare that person at all

He Carried her in a bridal style and took her to the bed

ORPHANAGE HOME

Betty roamed around in the room worried about luna,others tried to comfort her but she didn't she didn't listen,she was so freaking worried about luna

"I need to ask mother superior what's going on"betty said and left her room

Betty paced nervously outside Mother Superior's office, her mind racing with worry about Luna. She had never seen something happen like this before, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong.

Taking a deep breath, Betty knocked on the door. "Mother Superior? May I speak with you?"

The door opened, and Mother Superior's warm smile put Betty at ease,but it was a fake one

"Ah, Betty. Come in, child. What's troubling you?"

Betty hesitated, unsure how to phrase her concerns. "It's about Luna. She... she ran away. I don't know what happened, and I'm worried about her,who are those men"

Mother Superior's expression turned into anger

"That's non of your business,stay out of this and forget about luna,she's gone okay"mother superior said firmly

Betty's eyes widened, sensing there was more to the story. "What do you mean? What's going on?"

Mother Superior's gaze seemed darkened."leave and go to bed"

Betty's curiosity was piqued, and she sensed that Mother Superior knew more than she was letting on,betty wanted to find out so she left and waited taking a peek into her office and she gasped when she saw mother superior with huge amount of money and Betty rushed in making mother superior surprised

Betty's voice trembled with anger as she faced Mother Superior.

"How could you, Mother Superior? You call yourself a mother of the church, but you're nothing but a hypocrite. You've been using your position to exploit and harm those who trust you."

Mother Superior's expression turned darker

"Betty, you better leave,ypu don't know what am doing for this orphanage,it's a tough decision"

"Decisions?" Betty's voice rose in indignation. "You call what you've done 'decisions'? You've been selling children to.dangerous people,Mother Superior. Children who trusted you, who looked up to you. You're a monster."

The air was thick with tension as Mother Superior's mask began to slip, revealing a glimmer of the true person beneath

Betty's anger boiled over, and she took a step closer to Mother Superior. "You have no right to call yourself a mother of the church. You're a stain on everything that's good and holy. You've betrayed the trust of so many, and you'll pay for what you've done."

Mother Superior's calm demeanour began to crack, and she sneered at Betty. "You think you're so much better than me? You don't know what it's like to have to make hard choices, to do whatever it takes to survive."

Betty's eyes blazed with fury. "Survive? You call what you've done surviving? You've destroyed lives, Mother Superior. And you'll face justice for it."

The tension between them was palpable, and it seemed like the situation could escalate further.

"You sold my friend to the dangerous man,i will tell everyone"betty yelled leaving but mother Superior made betty unconscious by hitting her head with a vase and she took her to a conner

LEONARDO EMPIRE

Luna eyes fluttered opened sharply,her eyes roamed around the room but didn't see anyone at all,she wanted to sit up but she found that she was tied to the bed

She cried"oh please god help me"

That's when the bathroom door cracked opened and Leonardo came in with a towel wrapped around his body,his dark hair was dripping out water,his body was like something to be worship but luna refused to fall for it

Just as his towel slipped off his waist she closed her eyes immediately,leonardo looked back and noticed that she was awake

He smirked"open your eyes pretty face"he said his voice sent shivers into her spine

"I won't,if I stare at you I will sin"she muttered making Leonardo angry

"Save me that s**t and open your darm fûcking eyes already"his voice was laced with anger,she had no choice but to open her eyes to see his çoçk that was huge

"Good baby"he said dressing while luna stared at him swallowing hard,she couldn't believe she was doing this

"Please god forgive me"luna muttered still staring at him,when Leonardo was dressed up he went straight to her staring at her poor cute face

"Listen carefully,you are going to be my maid and also mine,this is your new place and don't think of running away,you can't run away from me "he said firmly then left luna in the room alone

Luna wanted to break free but couldn't that's when diana and mia got in

"Hey eat up"mia said placing a plate of food in front of her then he untied her

"Eat up and take this dress,you are a maid now,go bath,you Have lot of works to do"diana said and mia went to untie her

THE BATHROOM

Luna stepped into the bathroom, the warm water and steam enveloping her as she began to undress. She sank into the tub, letting the water wash over her, but her mind was elsewhere.

She thought about how she ended up here, about the men who took her, and about Leonardo. Her thoughts swirled with fear, uncertainty, and a deep sadness.

As she lay there, the water lapping at her chin, Luna's emotions began to surface. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, and she let out a soft sob.

The bathwater seemed to symbolise a temporary escape, a brief respite from the turmoil that had taken over her life. But as she soaked, Luna knew she couldn't stay hidden forever. She had to find a way out, or a way to change her circumstances.

The sound of footsteps outside the bathroom door broke the silence, and Luna's heart skipped a beat. Who could it be? And what did they want?

That's when diana and mia stepped in and went to luna

"Gosh it's you,you scared me,what are you doing here"luna said covering herself with her arms

"She's so naive,so cute,got small boobs ,she won't be able to survive here"mia said scaring luna

"What do you mean"she asked

"What she is means baby girl is that you have been sold to a mafia who doesn't like you,if I were you I would just force on my work and stay away from other people men got it"diana said firmly and she nodded

"No you won't do that"mia said to diana

"Fûcking shut up that ass hole of yours mia"diana spat and left now luna was scared.

LEONARDO EMPIRE

Leonardo sat in his office, facing his rival, Victor. The air was thick with tension as they discussed their business dealings.

"We need to discuss the shipment," Victor said, his voice firm.

"I've heard rumors that you're having trouble securing a new route."

Leonardo leaned back in his chair, his eyes narrowing.

"We've managed to find alternative routes. Our operations won't be disrupted."

Victor raised an eyebrow.

"I'm not sure I believe you, Leonardo. You've had some... setbacks lately. Perhaps we could work together to ensure a smoother operation."

Leonardo's expression turned cold.

"I don't need your help, Victor. We've been doing just fine without your interference,beside am a successful mafia and I am not some bullshit like you"

Victor's face reddened as he slammed his fist on the table

"You think you're above me, Leonardo? You think you can just waltz in and take control? I've been in this game a long time, and I won't be pushed around by some upstart like you."

Leonardo's expression remained calm, but his eyes flashed with anger.

"I'm not afraid of you, Victor. I've built my empire through hard work and smart decisions. You're just jealous that you're being left behind."

The argument escalated, with both men raising their voices and making accusations. The tension between them was palpable, and it seemed like the situation could boil over into violence at any moment

"You are gonna regret this"victor said and left with his men

LEONARDO EMPIRE

Luna was cleaning Leonardo room, Luna moved methodically, dusting and tidying with precision. Her gaze wandered, taking in the lavish furnishings and artwork. She felt a sense of detachment, as if observing someone else's life

As she approached the table, her eyes landed on a framed photograph. The man's face was unfamiliar – strong features, piercing eyes, and a commanding presence. Luna's brow furrowed; she couldn't place him,but she knew she had seen him

Just as she was about to the photo, the door swung open, and Leonardo stood in the entrance, his eyes locking onto hers. Luna's heart skipped a beat as their gazes met, the air thickening with tension

Leonardo's expression was unreadable, but his eyes seemed to bore into her very soul. Luna felt a shiver run down her spine as he stepped closer, his presence dominating the room

Luna bowed and wanted to leave but he pulled her back to him and held her waist staring at his face

"Why do you want to leave so soon huh"he whispered harshly in her ear,she pushed herself back ward

"Not.... nothing sir"luna shuttered

"Don't call me sir,call me Leo or I will cut your tongue out"he commanded making her Surprised

"Okay s,i mean Leo"luna said and wanted to leave but see diana ,diana stared at her with anger on her face ,bit luna didn't mind,she left

As Luna descended the stairs, she noticed Diana standing in the foyer, her expression icy. Diana's eyes locked onto Luna, and she strode purposefully towards her

"Stay away from master Leonardo," Diana said, her voice low and menacing.

"He's not for you. You're just a... distraction. A fleeting interest. He'll tire of you soon enough, and when he does, you'll be nothing not even a memory."

Luna felt a surge of defiance, but Diana's words struck a chord

"I didn't do anything"luna said and diana left angrily

LUNA ROOM

Luna lay submerged in the warm water, her eyes closed as she let out a soft sigh. The sound of gentle lapping of the water against the tub's edges was soothing, and she felt her muscles relax

Suddenly, she heard the soft creak of the floorboards beneath someone's footsteps. Her eyes snapped open, and she listened intently. The footsteps were light, cautious, as if someone was trying not to be heard.

Luna's heart began to beat faster as she wondered who it could be. She called out, "Hello? Is someone there?"

The footsteps stopped. There was silence.

Luna got out of the shower and wore a towel she came out from the bathroom and saw Leonardo who was shirtless while smoking his cigarette,he was handsome and luna almost drool over him but no she had to control himself,leonardo saw her and stared at her body that seem so irresistible

He stared at her from her head to her toes and luna felt uncomfortable

"You look so beautiful"he said and went close to her,she shifted back slightly until her back hit the wall and he caged her

Leonardo's lips brushed against Luna's, sending shivers down her spine. She felt a rush of pressure torn between desire and uncertainty. As he deepened the kiss, Luna's resolve wavered. She didn't wanted to give in,but she did

something held her back. She placed a hand on Leonardo's chest, pushed him away.

"Wait,am sorry s,i mean Leo,i don't want to do" she said almost crying Leonardo didn't say anything,he didnt what was going on,he left,Leonardo stood at the door, his hand on the doorknob, ready to slip out of Luna's room unnoticed. But as he turned to leave, he caught sight of her face, streaked with tears.

He couldn't bring himself to leave her like that,he didn't know why He walked back to her, his footsteps quiet on the floor. Luna didn't seem to notice him, too caught up in her own sorrow.

Leonardo's expression remain unreadable,Luna looked up, surprised to see him still there.

Without a word, Leonardo scooped her into his arms and carri

ed her to the bed. But something caught her eyes a necklace he wore around his neck

He have seen this necklace before but where have he seen it,she couldn't remember

"Who are you"she asked .
