18 Finally a little good news—we’ve sold the flat. It took us a while, lost a little money, had a few more sleepless nights over the moral implications, but in the end—what choice did we have? Live with a vengeful ghost? Pay a mortgage on an abandoned property? Burn it to the ground? Aimee and I pull up outside the third house on the list. 56 Cornel Road.
