Chapter Seventeen Good Intentions Barlo wasn’t happy about returning to the jungle. He was looking forward to being reunited with Silvaranwyn and meeting Daroandir, but he wished those meetings could take place away from the smothering humidity of Melahalas. It seemed to take forever for Amri’s people to plod across the plains with their precious cattle. If Lodariel hadn’t shown up and told him and Iarion that Silvaranwyn was safe, he would have left the tribe behind long ago. He still had problems thinking of her as Lodariel instead of Linwyn.
