Chapter 8 King Caleb of Arteria was contemplating a difficult situation. Standing on the balcony next to his bedchambers, he looked out over the courtyard of Castle Caine and considered his choices. As much as he wanted to stay at the castle and continue to receive updates from the physician, he really needed to get back to the front lines. Caleb had always preferred to be in the thick of it with his troops, even though his advisors and other leaders forbid him from actually participating in battles.
