My Enchantress

°Chapter 8°

"Once there was a powerful man named Elias who had everything he wanted. He was feared and adored by many. But one day he stumbled into the moon goddess named Selene. By being a conceited man he had a brawl with the moon goddess. He doesn't know that the moon goddess is more powerful than him. Because the conceited man didn't listen to the moon goddess she turned him into a werewolf. He became a werewolf. A half human and a half wolf. He can turn into a human and he can also turn into a wolf. He was cursed to live in the forest away from other humans. He was feared and hunted by people. So he had no choice but to live in the forest away from the people and the way of living he used to know. He became lonely for being alone. So when the moon goddess apeared again he ask for forgiveness and turned him back to what he was when he bacame a werewolf. Unfortunately the moon goddess cannot undo the curse. So she promised him that he will not be alone forever because he will have a mate that will be with him and made only for him. Then one day a woman was lost in the forest. They saw each other. The woman also fell inlove with the werewolf and she accept him for who he was. They live happily in the forest build there home and had children. Elias is the first werewolf King and her mate Eva became the Queen of the werewolf." he paused to take a deep breath.

Ayesha was overwhelmed by the story of Luca. She remembered when she was little her grandma used to tell them stories of the werewolf. But she didn't know that she will hear it again from Luca.

Luca saw that Ayesha was awed by his story. But he was not finished yet. So he continued to the main question of Ayesha.

"When the the werewolf kind expand. Elias became the leader and he was called Alpha together with his mate and she was called Luna. She became the Alpha female which have equal power of an alpha. They ruled the werewolf kingdom that had passed the power from generation to generation. A pack is composed of group of werewolf. There is always an Alpha in the pack which serves as the pack's leader. If an alpha had a first born he will be automatically the next alpha when he reached the right age." Luca is looking for Ayesha's reaction. She was just listening intently. He paused for a while so that she can digest the information he gave to her.

"S-so you mean that you are a werewolf and also an alpha and you are a leader of a pack?" she ask for his confirmation to what idea that is forming on her mind. She is slowly getting the gist of it.

"Yes baby. I'm a descendant of Elias."

"You can also turn into a wolf?" she shakily ask. She untangled her hand away from Luca's hand. Her mom said that wolf is a scary animal.

"I am baby. I have a wolf in me. But please don't get scared. I'm not going to hurt you." he plead when he saw that any moment it feels like Ayesha wanted to run away from him. He felt a pang of ache when Ayesha's hand slip away from his grasp.

Ayesha is telling herself not to get scared and that Luca is a good person. He save her from the animal that wanted to attack her in the forest. He didn't harm her in any way. She remembered the animal in the forest so she ask him about it.

"The animal in the forest. Is it also a werewolf who tried to attack me?" she ask. She had a goosebump when she remembered that time.

"It was a rouge. A werewolf who had no pack. There eyes are red different from ours. They are very rogorous animals. They don't follow rules." he explained.

"Will he come back for me?" Ayesha can't stop to ask.

"No baby he's already dead. Don't worry nothing will happened to you as long as I'm here. I will protect you." he assured her.

"Thank you Luca. I don't why you doing this but still I appreciate your kindness." she truthfully said.

"Anything for my mate." he kissed the back of her hand.

"Mate?"

"Yes baby. You are my mate. My other half. The Luna of my pack." Luca saidq lovingly. He caress with his other hand the cheek of his mate.

"But how? I mean why me. I can't be your Luna I am no good for you." Ayesha's heart ache from what she said. She felt happy when he said she is his mate. The one that destined from him. But she cannot help but to feel sad. She know that she doesn't deserve to be his mate. She's blind and she don't want to burden him.

"Hey baby. . Don't say that. You are the best thing happened to me since I saw you. You complete me. I was waiting for you so long. I don't care if you can't see or what. I'm willing to be your eyes for you to be able to see. So don't say that you don't deserve to be my mate because the woman that was destined for me was you. And I wouldn't want someone. Only you." Luca engulfed Ayesha in his embrace. His heart constrict from what she was thinking. She was selflessly thinking his welfare before hers. She will surely be a good luna to his pack.

Ayesha felt her tears because of what Luca said. She felt his sincerity to what he said. She hug him back and surrender to the warmth he is giving her. She felt home.
