°Chapter 10°

Luca went to his office to give instructions to his elite warriors about tightening the border patrol of their pack to keep the rouges away from his territory. He left his mate peacefully sleeping this morning. While thinking of Ayesha, smile always crept to his face that made Brandon tease him annoyingly. To spare his day from Brandon's non stop teasing he asked him to go to his house and keep Ayesha safe. He don't want to left her in the house alone but he needs to give instruction to his pack warriors. He don't want to disturb her peaceful slumber so he went out alone to go to his office.

After giving instruction he was ready to dismiss them when he suddenly felt a painful tug from his heart then he heard a soft voice calling him.

His eyes turned gold and his wolf is livid wanting to claw out calling to his mate.

"Mate. . Mate. .protect mate. " his wolf is phasing back and fourth. Frantically he didn't bother to give a word to his baffled men.

When the Alpha run out of the room the warriors followed suit. They went to protect their Alpha if something may went wrong.

When he reached his home he sensed that there are people inside. He can hear his beta angrily shouting at someone. Luca opened the door harshly and saw red when he fixed his eyes to his unconscious mate secured in the arms of his beta.

His Alpha aura is radiating dangerously that made the people near him submit. He went to his beta and took his mate away from him. Luca heard the faint heartbeat of Ayesha and saw finger marks that starting to form on her delicate neck. It made his temper boiled and his wolf got angry that it wanted to kill the one who hurt his mate.

"Who hurt my mate?" he asked full of anger on his calm voice.

No one bother to answer him because they became numb of fear.

"Speak." he shouted when no one dare to speak.

Brandon inhale deeply to keep his cool and went to Jessica who is cowering in fear. He roughly tugged Jessica and made her face Luca.

"She's the one who hurt the luna. I saw her strunggling her when I entered the house."

"Alpha. I didn't mean to kill her. She's at fault for being stupid. I just punished her a little." Jessica bravely tried to reason out.

Luca slowly looked at the woman with hatred.

"Arrest her and put them all in the cell."

Jessica and her minions eyes widened eith fear. They tried to reason out and asking Luca to spare them.

"Please Alpha we didn't do anything to Luna. It was Jessica's fault. Please Alpha spare us we beg you"

"Get off me you asshole"

"You cannot do this to me Luca. I am your mate and not that b*tch. I love you and you are mine." Jessica shouted while trying to free herself from the grasp of the warrior.

"You are not my mate and never will be. Get out from my sight woman. My wolf is really angry for what you did and if you wanted to be alive don't ever show your face in fron of me or Ayesha or I will tear you to pieces."Luca cold gaze went to Jessica.

"Hah! She's not fit to be your mate. That b*tch is blind how can she be a Luna? You here me she's freakin' blind. A pathetic excuse of a garbage."

Luca's patience snapped and he didn't hold his wolf anymore. In a blink he was in front of Jessica holding her neck choking the life out of her. His eyes turned gold and he transformed into half wolf. Jessica is turning purple and her eyes rolled back gasping for air trying to claw the hand of Luca. Luca didn't even feel remorse all he wanted was to kill the b***h who tried to harm his Luna. He smirk and ready to end want he started when he heard the faint voice of his mate.

"L-Luca. . " Ayesha felt like she was drown at the bottom of the sea. It was hard for her to breath. Her throat and neck hurts a lot. She slowly swallow her saliva but everytime she tried her throat hurts that made tears started to fall from her eyes. She felt that she was gently lifted by a hard arms. And even she cannot see who it was she knows that it was Luca based on the smell and a litlle sparks she felt when Luca touch her.

"Shhh. . It's okay baby. I'm here." His voice was soothing her trembling body. She felt Luca lift her and brought her upstairs. After a few minutes her body hit the soft mattress. They where inside the room. Luca straightened and retract his hands off her to leave but she hurriedly hold his arm to stop him from leaving her.

"It's okay baby. I won't leave you I'll just get water for you to drink." Luca hold her hand to sooth her. They hear a soft knock.

"Come in."

Brandon entered the room with water in his hand when he heard Luca's voice. He put the water on the bedside table.

"Alpha, Jessica and her minions are now on the cell. What to do with them?" Brandon asked. He cannot stop himself from eyeing his Alpha who has a very concerned face looking at his Luna. He understand him. He also wants to tear Jessica's throat for hurting his Luna in front of him. The guts of that woman to step in Alpha's home. Everybody knows her as a certified slut in the pack whoring around unmated male.

"Let them be there for a while to teach them lessons. I can't forgive them for what they did to my mate."

"Got it. Want me to call the pack doctor?" that surely hurts a lot. Eyeing Ayesha's face started forming bruises.

"Yes please call Dr. Stevens."

Brandon wanted to have a witty remark but stop himself to comment "We have a mindlink you know you can call the doctor right away!" not wanting to anger the alpha. He just smirk to himself "I'm really cool yeh!" He mindlink the doctor to come in Alpha's house right away.

"I'll just be outside if you need me." he looked at the Luna who is holding Alpha's hand. "Get well soon Luna" Ayesha gently opened her grey eyes and turned to him with a small smile and give him a nod. She mouth him thank you without sound.

Brandon exited the room and went back at the living room. He saw that everything was a mess. He touched his forehead cooly with a frown.

"This will going to be along day." he murmured to himself. He mindlinked the packs workers to repair the living room and the missing door. Soon workers started their work while he supervised them.
