ºChapter 7º

"Are you the Alpha's mate?" a child voice ask Ayesha who was sitting at the upper part of the field where the pack fighters are having there training.

The boy was playing with her sister in the field when he saw the alpha and the woman went to the tall tree standing proudly at the top of the hill. He went there to see who is the woman together with his Alpha. His momma said that Alpha has already found his Luna.

Ayesha look at the direction where she heard the voice.

"Are you the Alpha's mate?" the boy ask again when she didn't replied.

"Alpha?" she always heard the word alpha. But she didn't know what it was or who it was.

"Yes, our Alpha Luca. My momma said that he found his mate. Is that you? Are you our Luna?"

Ayesha blink her eyes a few times. Trying to understand and digest what the boy said.

"Ahm. . I don't know the mate part and I'm not Luna. My name is Ayesha." she answer the boy.

"Oh. .  My name is Toby. Nice to meet you Ayesha." the boy offered his hand for a handshake but Ayesha didn't know it. Toby frowned and look at Ayesha who is looking only at his hand.

The little boy who is curious wave his tiny hand in front of Ayesha's face. 

"Are you blind Ayesha?" Toby ask her.

Ayesha was taken aback. It was the first time since she came here that someone ask if she was blind.

She licked her natural pink lips and answered the boy.

"Yes." she said with a small voice.

"Oh I see. That's why you didn't take my hand for a handshake." the boy nodded his head as if that answered his question.

"Oh!! I'm sorry. I didn't know. Nice to meet you Toby." Ayesha offered her hand to the small boy and the boy put his small hand on hers foe a handshake.

"What a cute boy." Ayesha thought.

"Why are you alone here Ayesha? I mean I saw you earlier with the Alpha." Toby innocently ask.

"Well I want a fresh air so I am here. And do you mean Luca? He went to get something." she answered the boy.

"Ahm Toby. . Why are you calling Luca an Alpha. Is that his first name?"

"No, it's a title. You didn't know that Alpha Luca is our pack's Alpha. And maybe you are his Luna."

Ayesha was trying to absorb what the child said. She heard someone is calling him to play. Toby bid goodbye to her and went to his friends leaving Ayesha with so much question swirling in her mind.

Luca went back to the hill and he saw Ayesha leaning on the big tree. He was trying to be discreet in walking so that he could test her sense of hearing. And she didn't fail him. When he was a few meters away from her she face the way where he was coming.

He was looking on her face when he saw that something was disturbing her thoughts. Well he tried to peek on her mind but he was stunned to see it was so chaotic.

When he reach her. He put the basket he was carrying on the bed of grass and face her. He tucked the stray hair that falling on her smooth face.

"Is something bothering you!" he gently ask her. She nod.

"Can I ask you something?" she ask him.

"Anything baby." a blush formed on her cheeks and she lowered her head.

"Cute." he said with a smile. He can help himself but to pinch those rosy red. She don't need to have make up to be beautiful. She's a natural beauty with those perfect brows, long eyelashes, cute small a little bit pointy nose and a kissable pink lips. Not to mention her eyes even though she can't see still she had a pair of beautiful orbs.

He felt sad that her mate cannot see the beauty of the world. But he will be willing to be her eyes in order for her to see. If he can give anything to her lovely mate he will do it in a heart beat.

"Why is everyone calling you an Alpha.? And they even called me Luna. I can't get it. And there is also a mate and a pack. " she said with a face eager to know the answer.

Luca didn't know if he will answer her question. Is he ready to introduce to her about his species? There are so many questions running in his mind. The one that is above all is will she accept who he was?

"Luca?" Ayesha didn't heard a response from Luca but she knew that he was still there. It looks like he was thinking if he will answer her or not.

"Does my question that hard that he cannot answer it?" she asked herself.

Luca cleared his throat and he combed his hair with his hand. A mannerism he had when his uneasy. He sighed and prepare himself to explain.

"Baby. . " he started softly.

"Hmm??" Ayesha absentmindedly answered him. When she realized what did he called her. Her cheeks reddens. He was always calling her baby that she was getting used to it.

Luca failed to stop his lips to form a wide smile. Her mate is slowly warming up to him. He likes it. He love to see her blush because of him. Love, he realizes that in a small spun of time he felt in love with his mate, his other half. He move to get Ayesha's hand resting on her lap and intertwined it with his. It fits perfectly. Her small hand against his big one. Small sparks erupted through his body that made his wolf purred.

"I have to tell you something but I hope that you will not freak out." he said. He saw that Ayesha nod her head and ready to listen to what he will tell her."
