My Enchantress

ºChapter 9º

"Can I go home?" Ayesha asked Luca for a moment she found her voice. She had a hard time absorbing what Luca said. She is rattled by it. It's too much for her.

Luca's heart aches when he heard what his mate said. Does it mean that she doesn't want to be with him?

Ayesha felt Luca stiffened and she heard him sighed deeply.

"Are we still in the village?" Ayesha ask him again even though she had an idea where she was right now.

"No. You already crossed the boundary of your village and my pack."

Ayesha felt Luca held her hand and kiss her knuckles. An electric feeling traveled from her hands to her whole body. She shivered from it. She tried to clear her mind and not to be swayed by the emotion she is feeling right now.

"Will I die here and not be able to come back to my family because I went here to enchanted forest?"

She felt Luca stiffened beside her. An angry growl was heard. Ayesha scurried

away from Luca afraid that he will hurt her.

"I will not allowed anyone to hurt you or even touch the strand of your hair. You are mine to love and cherish. No one will ever get you from me." Luca tried to suppress his raging wolf from getting out. He was so angry when he remembered again that his mate was once in danger.

Ayesha's heart is beating wildly but she heard the sincerity in the voice of the angry alpha. She knew that he will never hurt her so she meekly move her hand to touch the alpha trying to calm him.

Luca felt that Ayesha touch his hand and gently stroke it. The heat from his mate's touch sent a soothing sensation to his raging emotion. He slowly calm down and his wolf retreated at the back of his mind and enjoying the feeling while wagging his tail. He cannot stop himself to pull his mate on his lap facing him and he pulled her on a tight hug.

He buried his face on the crook of her neck and inhaled a large amount of scent from her. She smelled so good and addicting.

Ayesha was stunned when Luca howled her and she felt him hug her. Her both legs are dangling in each side of Luca's leg and her breast is pressed again his hard chest and his face was on the crook of her neck. Her cheek flushed on the intimate position. The tingling sensation crawled from her body when she felt that Luca is now gently kissing her neck slowly. Ayesha can't stop herself from moaning. She gently tilt her head from the side to give Luca a better access of her neck. She felt herself becoming wet down there and she felt something hard poking her feminine part.

Luca have a sniff of Ayesha's arousal and he stop attacking her neck. He put a small distance between them to see her face. She is blushing heavily and he saw desire is written on her lovely face. He touch her face gently.

"You are so beautiful."

Ayesha felt her cheeks grew hotter and she felt really shy. She pressed her face on Luca's neck to hide her embarrassment. She felt Luca chuckled on her cute actions.

"You smell so good." Ayesha mumbled softly and pressed herself more in Luca's embrace but because of Luca's enhance hearing he heard it clearly.

They stayed for a few minutes in the field until Luca felt that Ayesha had fallen asleep. He gently carried her back to the house so that she would be more comfortable in her nap.

Luca went down the hill to the field where his pack members are training. They stopped when they felt their Alpha is coming their way. All eyes went to Luca who is carrying the sleeping mate protectively on his body. The pack bow down and greeted him with respect. He heard some of the member whispering but he didn't mind it.

"Is that our Luna?" one member ask as quiet as he could be in his companion.

The other one shrugged and signal the other man to keep quiet.

"She's beautiful isn't she?" the lad said with admiration.

Luca heard what the lad said and he stopped on his heel. The lad tensed when he saw his alpha staring into him.

"Continue your training." Luca simply said and proceed his way to the pack house.

Days have pass like a blur and Ayesha felt so comfortable in Luca's home. They are always together and even though she's a little worried about her family looking for her Luca assured her that they are okay and he asked permission from her family that she will stay with him for a while. Ayesha didn't know what Luca told her parents but surprisingly they agreed with him. She asked him about it but she only received a kissed on her temple and he just say she need not to worry about it.

Ayesha was feeling thirsty and decided to go to the kitchen to get water. Luca is not home because he have something to do and she already familiarized herself in the house so she confidently went out her room to the kitchen. When Luca is with her he was always there to tend her needs even though she always told him that she can do it on her own but Luca is so stubborn so she just let him be. Her disability didn't hinder her from having a normal life much to her astonishment. It's like that she gain another sense when she lack one.  Her instinct also help her always and it's like something or someone is guiding her anonymously. She was saddened when she suddenly remembered Jester she missed her companion. He was with her as long as she can remember. She hope that Jester is fine.

When she reached the last step of the stair the main door suddenly opened and the noise came from a group of woman was suddenly heard. A small gasp from the group escape from their lips.

"Who are you?" Jessica asked the woman who is standing in the last step of the stair. She was shocked when she saw a woman inside Luca's house. She eyed her with disdain. The woman was looked simple in her yellow dress but she cannot lie that the woman is not beautiful.

Ayesha stood frozen in her feet from  sudden intrusion of unknown persons. But she remain calm despite the uneasiness creeping into her. From the sound of the bitchy voice she can tell that it's not a good one. With an innocent look and small smile Cassie face the woman.

"Ah. . hi I'm Ayesha" she softly said. She can't see that the girl's face is full of disgust. And wanting to claw her beautiful face.

Jessica went to Ayesha and squared her shoulder crossed her arms under her chest trying to intimidate the woman. She eyed her again from head to foot. There's nothing special to this woman she thought to herself.

"Why are you here in Luca's house?" she haughtily asked. To her irritation Ayesha just stood there and didn't bother to answer Jessica who is now fuming mad because of Ayesha's unresponsiveness. While looking attentively to Ayesha, realization downed to her. She wave here hand on Ayesha's face and a smirk  drawn to her.

"Who is she Jess?" The other woman from the group asked.

Jessica didn't bother to answer Kristal. She just gave her full attention to Ayesha.

"Ah! You're a new maid here hired by Luca right? Get me some fresh juice maid. I am thirsty. Now go." Jessica said to Ayesha dismissingly.

Ayesha's forehead slightly creased when she heard the woman ordered her.

"Hey maid didn't you heard me??"

"Don't you know who I am? I am Luca's girlfriend and your future Luna so if you want to retain your work do what I say." Jessica is now fuming from the woman's stupidity.

Ayesha felt a sudden pain in her chest when she heard that Jessica is Luca's girlfriend. With a heavy heart she silently went to the kitchen to prepare the juice she asked not wanting to angered the woman. After finishing she went to the living room and put the juice in the table.

The woman and here friends are laughing obstreperously. They talk loud that made Ayesha's eardrums hurt. She didn't know that one of Jessica's friend accidentally tripped her and the juice she is holding unceremoniously spilled to Jessica's face.

A loud shriek boomed at the four corners of the house. With her murderous aura, Jessica hold the neck of Ayesha and slam her hard on the wall that causes a painful gasp escape from Ayesha's lips. She tried to pry the strong hand that choking her.

Jessica's eyes turned red and her canines elongated ready to tear the poor woman's neck. She is beyond pissed that she wanted to kill this woman. She yell curses at her and tightened her hold to make the woman tremble in fear. She loved the euphoric smell of woman's fear radiating off her body. She will teach this b***h a lesson.

"I will kill you, you stupid b***h. How dare you step foot on Luca's house."

Ayesha is struggling to fight the blackness that's trying to consumed her. She is out of breath that anytime she will pass out. Her tears are flowing freely on her pale face. Fear is silently consuming her whole body. Before she lost her consciousness she uttered Luca's name softly and surrendered to oblivion.

"What the hell!"

Brandon's eyes widened and he was shocked of what he saw when he opened the door of Luca's house. He was task by the Alpha to baby sit his Luna. But what he saw just now made his body trembled with fear. He hurriedly went to his Luna and angrily pried the half shift she wolf away from the unconscious woman. He catch the limp body of Cassie before it reach the ground.

"What the f*ck did you do?" he angrily shouted at the woman who already returned to his human face. His eyes turned red and the beta aura is leaking through his body. He is on guard to protect his Luna.

Jessica opened her mouth to speak but a powerful aura suddenly came and opened the door harshly that make the hinges break. All the people inside and outside the house trembled in fear and they forcefully bow down to submit before they saw the dangerous glint in the eyes of Luca. Even Brandon trembled with the radiating power of his Alpha.

"s**t" Brandon silently muttered when he saw Luca is dangerously striding towards him. His angry eyes bore to his Luna's unconscious form.

"Alpha"
