My Enchantress

"Auntie thank you so much for the cupcakes and cookies I really enjoyed it. It taste so heavenly. I'm so full that I think I cannot eat dinner later." Ayesha pat her tummy leisurely.

Aetna smiled lovingly to her beautiful niece. She was so glad that her niece had a sweet tooth for her pastries. She loves baking and cooking and it so fulfilling that someone loves her cooking skills. She lives alone so she always invites her nieces and nephews in her home but others are seldom visiting her that why she loves Ayesha the most. Well she had an equal love for all her nieces and nephew but Ayesha is very special.

Ayesha felt that her aunt caress her hair so she face her. Her aunt Aetna enveloped her hands with hers.

"You can always visit me here anytime. And I'm glad you like it. I have packed something for you to bring for your mom and dad. I hope they will like it too.

"Don't worry Auntie I'm sure they will love it. And you have the best cooking skills in the whole world." Ayesha assure her Auntie. Aetna just laugh and hummed.

"Oh well it's already 4 o'clock as much as I love you being here with me I will not hold you back any longer. Your mum will going to get worried if you came home late." her Aunt Aetna said thoughtfully as she glance at the time in her wall clock.

"Thank you Auntie for inviting me here." she hug the sweet lady. Aetna patted her hands lovingly.

"Your welcome dear."

Ayesha stand from her seat and call Jester who is lazily lying on her feet.

"Come on buddy. It's time to go home." she said softly in her dog. The dog barks to answer her.

"Jester keep Ayesha safe back home okay!" Aunt Aena told the dog while petting his fur.

Jester bark and wagged his tail as if he was telling Aunt Aetna okay. Aetna smiled, amusement is written on her face as she saw how the dog and her niece bond so much. They are so inseparable.

Ayesha bid good bye to her Aunt Aetna and promise to visit her again. They are walking back home when Ayesha remembered something.

"Jester lets take a walk to the field again we still have two hours to kill until 6. The dog bark and take a detour. Jester memorize all the places in the village because they are always together wherever she goes.

The field is located at the center of the forest. There is an open clearing with lots of wild flowers scattered on the field. There is a small path going to the field and the trees are lined perfectly on each sides creating a path.

There are no wild animals on this side of the forest that attached to the village but from the other side of the field located at the North that they called Enchanted Forest some people said that it is not safe to go there because there are wild animals that resides there.

There are speculations that if you enter the Enchanted Forest you will be lost and cannot get out there alive. There is a lake that separated the Enchanted Forest and the village. So the villager will know where is the boundary of the village and the Enchanted Forest is.

Ayesha felt that the wind is caressing her face gently. It feels like the wind is welcoming her for being back home. This is the second time that she felt this kind of feeling when come up here.

She gently close her eyes and let her senses feel. She inhale and exhale and focus more on her surroundings. The gentle sway of her hair against the wind. She can hear birds happily chirping around. It's like music to her ears. When she inhale the sweet scent of flowers fill her nose. She can also hear the joyful bark of Jester who probably playing around.

Ayesha put her hand on the big trunk of the tree where she was standing. She can feel the rough edges of the trunk. The trunk of the tree where she was standing has soft grasses protruding on the ground. She gently slide her body to the ground and sat down. She leaned her back to the tree and make herself more comfortable. There is a smile on her face while enjoying this heavenly feeling.

Ayesha didn't know that she had fallen asleep when she heard Jester growl beside her.

Jester make an alarming stance while growling on the man who is standing a few meters away from where Ayesha is sitting. The man is staring at them while his two hands are inside his jean pockets.

Ayesha stroke the fur of her dog.

"What is it buddy?" she gently ask the disturbed animal.

The dog keep on glaring at the man who is now advancing slowly at them.

Ayesha was taken a back when she sense something or rather someone who is approaching them. Since her senses are enhance she could smell something different that is mixing in the air. A manly smell rather.

"Who are you?" she asked the man. She stand up from where she is sitting and holding the leash of Jester tightly in her hands.

Jester is still growling at the man, ready to pounce if the man will going to do something bad to Ayesha.

"Hey it's okay I meant no harm." a deep voice said calming the dog and the woman who was startled in the presence of the man.

"I am Luca Steinfield and I live not far from here." Luca introduce himself to the woman who is standing stiffly.

The dog barks at the man. Luca look at the dogs eye not blinking. He let his alpha side leak a little to calm the raging dog. He commend the dog for being protective to the woman. He crouched down and petted the dogs head that earn a purring sound from the dog. He smiled a little and look up to the woman who has worried look on her beautiful face.

Ayesha felt an electric shock creeped into her arms when a slightly calloused big hand touched her own hand that is holding the leash of Jester. She jolt up because of a sudden contact.

Sensing the discomfort of the woman Luca retracted his hand away from the soft skin of the woman. He thank his willpower of not pouncing the woman in front of him as soon as he smelled the sweetest fragrance he had ever smelled. The electricity still lingers on his hand when he touched the woman.
