NORA POV Darius didn’t sleep beside me. Not that I expected him to. After that vision, after the shared silence, there was a wall between us again—one not built from hate or betrayal this time, but fear. And worse? Unspoken truth. I could feel it pulsing beneath his skin, in the way he looked at me like I might explode if he said the wrong word. But I was done being kept in the dark.
