Chapter 33 – The Wraithborn Siege

1201 Words

Nora POV The air froze. Davorin’s footsteps echoed like a death knell. He stood tall, flanked by his Wraithborn—shadowed figures whose very presence turned the daylight to dusk. His eyes locked onto mine, and in that instant, I felt the weight of everything—the prophecy, the bloodlines, the battle for my soul—pressing down on me. “You’ve come far,” Davorin’s voice was cold, the words drawn out like poison, “but I always knew you would.” He was the embodiment of everything that had haunted my nightmares. But now, there was no escape. I stood my ground, my heart racing, but my gaze sharp. This was no longer about survival. This was about making sure my people—my family—didn’t become pawns in his twisted game. “We’ve come for her,” I said, my voice firmer than I felt. “Release Liana.”
