Most of the day was spent taking care of the pack, as the visitors helped to build the pyre the alpha, beta and Scarlett helped with the grieving process. Elisabeth had finally been discharged and Scarlett spent the whole day with her preparing Hettie’s body for the pyre and receiving friends and family that wanted to show Elisabeth their condolences. Elisabeth would crumble often while sobbing for her lost child, and Scarlett was there every time holding her up or getting her to a seat. She made sure Elisabeth had something to drink and eat throughout the day and spent time holding her hand when she was looking out into thin air. Scarlett wanted to fall apart as well, but she stayed strong for Elisabeth.
