Lina scrunched her nose, she could smell that scent again, it lingered in the grand hallway as she rushed to her next class. She had been at the all girls-school for weeks and the scent lingered everywhere, sandalwood and oak, it made her both giddy and repulsed. She knew that there were only two other males in the large castle, and so the scent could only come from one of them, from the pictures of the staff and previous headmasters she knew the older was fated to another woman. The scent had to be of the younger headmaster, and she wanted so badly to avoid him, so from the first day she smelled it she had put out little obstacles around the castle.
