“I am sorry Amber” I said to her.
“I forced you to stay in New York ignoring your protest without knowing your reasons about why you were not willing to stay.” I said.
I still regret bringing her here. Though I got to know about her past only because we came here but still I did not want to find out about her past at the cost of her life and fears.
“You know this is the first time I am regretting something this badly” I confessed honestly. “ Amber you” I said and looked at her to find she has already fallen asleep. I sighed audibly. With whom I was talking to till now I wonder how much she heard.
I picked her up in my arms bridal style and took her to her room. I made her lay down on bed and covered her body with duvet. I kissed her on her forehead.
